Victim moves Supreme Court against Salman Khan in hit-and-run case

A victim in the 2002 hit and run case, moved the Supreme Court on Thursday challenging the acquittal of Salman Khan by the Bombay High Court.

The special leave petition filed by Niyamat Shaikh, who was injured in the accident, prayed for quashing the High Court verdict and a direction to the Maharashtra government and Salman Khan to pay a compensation to him and to his family. The petition is to be heard on Friday along with a SLP already pending before a Bench headed by Justice J. S. Khehar.

In his petition Niyamat Shaik contended that the Bombay High Court has wrongly acquitted the actor by ignoring the material points with regard to the statement of the petitioner before the police and the trial court which had sentenced him to five years rigorous imprisonment.

If Salman committed a crime then let the court decide what will happen. Haters like you are writing things like Power of Money, etc only because you hate Salman, not that any of you are concerned about the person who died.

Everyone want Salman khan to go to jail because they hate him, not because he killed someone. If u r concerned about the person who died, atleast tell me his name WITHOUT searching in net for a half-an-hour.

And dont give me some shitty patriotic reason like ‘Being Indian’, etc. If u r a deshbhakht then let me tell you that this is not the only hit and run case in India, there are atleast a 100 cases pending in court. Why don’t u show ur concern there?

  • Omg..such amazing responses from Salman khan fans. For them hurling abuses is tantamount to taking lives of innocents.

For your information srk didn’t punch or even touched the bodyguard. If he had done so he would have landed himself in jail at least for a day or else an FIR would have been lodged against him.Srk had the humility to accept what he did was absolutely wrong despite the watchman using extremely disgusting words against his religion (@hrithik hope you are reading this) and manhandling his daughter. And still many fans in Indicine have criticised his behaviour.

But in case of bhai’s incident blind faith in their favourite star won’t allow their fans to remove their blinkers and accept the harsh reality. If you feel he wasn’t behind the wheel it’s fine. But some comments saying even if he was behind I don’t give a damn is ridiculous.
    Get well soon Bhai fans.

  • The Prayers Are More Of Sending Him In Jail Rather Than The Prayers Of Let Him Free From All Cases…!!!

Excuse me! How many people are ‘really’ symphatising with the dead man? Here, a rich man accidentally killed a poor guy. U want the rich man behind the bars,

Read the comments here, everyone are writing things like ‘law should be equal to all, Salman should be punished despite what he is’, ‘please wake up Salman fans’, ‘sad how rich buy the law’, etc but how many are taking about ‘A COMMON MAN SHOULD GET HIS RIGHTS’.

No one has till now written something like “I feel sad for the victim’s family, they lost their soul bread winner and the guy who killed him is still freely roaming around”
If u r really sympathising with the dead man, this is what you would actually comment.

Don’t try to teach me moral science u buffon, even I was one of those who had a teary eye after the Nirbhaya Incident.

First get a clarity among yourself, what’s your aim- sending Salman Khan to jail OR bringing justice to a common man?

There is a difference between both these phrases.

  • @Challa : Don’t try to play the religion card. Now where did this come from that watchman abused SRK for his religion ? Don’t read some Altu faltu sites content they will put anything to get more hits !!!!!!!!
