The teaser poster of Udta Punjab starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh is out. The poster is captioned ‘Drugs Di Maa Di’.
The theatrical trailer of Udta Punjab will be out on 16th April, the film releases in theatres on 17th June.

Hope the content will be solid coz Shahid is an amaizing actor but with poor choices.
I always felt that Shahid has got potential to do great
‘if not dominate the industry… but unfortunately it never worked fr him….
I have been waiting for UP and it looks quite different and unique . It is directed by Abhishek Chaubey who has directed Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya and both were good movies . The cast is also quite interesting with Shahid, Alia, Kareena and Diljit . It is based on the substance abuse in Punjab which is a huge problem of Punjab and Haryana . The release date is good as it will come 2 weeks after H3 . It will bring back Shahid and Alia for the 2nd time after Shaandaar . Shahid and Kareena do not have a single scene between them . I will watch the trailer and that will give a clear idea as to what to expect from UP . SK has made many poor choices in the past and now I can just hope
this movie is solid justifies his talent and enables him to do something different .
Waiting for this one and will watch it definitely.
Three movies (apart from the movies of top heroes) which I am excited about and expecting to surprise people are : Udta Punjab, Rangoon and MS Dhoni biopic. Hopefully they will achieve both critical acclaim and box office success.
