Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed his presence in Aditya Chopra’s next film after ‘Befikre’. The superstar said the film is a ’very big project’, which will go on floors by the end of 2017.
“Aditya Chopra has a plan to do a film with me. I think I will start shooting for Aditya’s next film by end of 2017. All he has told me is the fact that is a very big project and I might have to sit for two months with Adi to prepare for the character”
“He told me the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on characters for two months prior to shooting for the film. I have no idea what he is making, but he has just asked me to keep my dates free next year. He has been planning one film with me after Befikre” SRK said.
Shah Rukh’s lineup of upcoming film is looking stronger with each passing day. The actor has Maneesh Sharma’s FAN and Rahul Dholakia’s Raees scheduled to release this year. A film with directors like Aanand L Rai and Imtiaz Ali in 2017 and Aditya Chopra’s directorial 5th directorial venture after ‘Befikre’.
Chopra has previously directed Shah Rukh in the all-time classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’

Aditya had once told that Yash Ji wanted him to direct the biggest movie of YRF and “Befikre” is not “that” film. Perhaps, Adi-SRK next will be the biggest movie in the history of YRF.

So this will be the 4th movie of SRK-Adi Combo . This movie might release in 2018 . So after Befikre Adi Chopra will not go into hibernation as he usually goes into for many years . Now I feel Adi Chopra and SRK should try something different . DDLJ was a love story about two youngsters . Mohabbtein was more mature in which SRK played a music teacher and also had more drama as compared to DDLJ . RNBDJ was a sweet and simple story in which SRK played a common man who tries to wins her wife’s love . Also Adi Chopra said Befikre will be his youngest, riskiest and happiest film and he is not making it for Box Office . After seeing the first poster of Befikre it looks like a love story . So I hope Adi and SRK should try a new genre such as Action, Thriller, Biopic, Musical etc. Because his romantic avatar in JTHJ did not create the kind of impact it was expected to . Also I have observed SRK has stayed away from Romance in this decade apart from JTHJ . CE and Dilwale had some Romance but it had more masala and comedy . Also Adi should try something different as the audiences tastes has changed significantly since the last 20 years . After this news I feel Raees will not release on Eid can be confirmed so I am waiting for the official announcement and a new release date .

After Dilwale the idea of SRK to do 15 movies in the next 5 years is a good one as fans will love him to see 2 or 3 times in a year . He is deliberately staying away from Rohit and Farah because the kind of success he wanted from masala genre he could not achieve and also this affected his credibility among fans and neutral audiences . Let’s hope with Fan he will once again be part of good movies that the fans always wanted to see in the last 5 years .
