  • @babaji who compelled him to do 4 films a year. Did the Industry demanded ‘we want a akshay film’ to save the bollywood or his fans were crazy …

He does not looking for a good script, good directer, whether it’s masala, remake..so on. His only concern is making money.

After completing a film he never look back to it,no promotion..etc.. Cause he will be busy in making money..oops ,acting his next film..

    Is it’s others fault.

Don’t worry dude, In the history of Indian cinema an akshay kumar solo starring movie with original script going to touch the great 75 crore mark with his next release Baby…cheers..

  • @Babaji : Ah..! I was in that impression that Mangal Pandey and Maine Pyar kyun kiya were flops. Thanks for clearing my doubt.

    @Vignesh : Thanks buddy :)

@King11 : Come on man. Just because you want to prove your point right , you can’t play with the facts. You spoke about 1998-2007 ..right?? In that period also, he had movies like Devdas,MHN,Don,OSO and those were more successful than the yrf/KJo movies like Mohhabatein, K3G etc because two out of these four (Devdas,OSO) were highest grosser of the year.
And why to count movies like Kal Ho na Ho and CDI?? Directors were different, only banner was same. So you mean to say that banner has something special?? If that Is the case why YRF and Dharma movies are struggling now a days?? These movies should also earn in crores according to your theory..isn’t it?

  • @babaji ka lota

How innocently you state that HR dominated Aamir from 2000-2008 while forgetting that Aamir didn’t have any release for 4 years in that time span and he too was going through a personal crisis (divorce)

Just blindly copying Aamir by doing less films won’t make HR another Aamir….his choice in scripts sucks donkey’s balls

One suggestion to you…don’t even try to mask your hypocrisy…it’s your strong point…so flaunt it.

Another fool on another site had written some garbage that Bang Bang is what Dhoom 3 should have been…but I’ll take it up another day.

  • @nipun
If my eyes are working properly then devdas was highest with 42.5 crore with is about 4 cr more than kaho na payar ha and is equal to koi mil gaya ,and 2cr more than veer zara which were all highest grosser of particular years

  • @ Indicine: In 2009, Kites earned 49.27 crores, 5th highest grosser of year. check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kites_%28film%29. So his highest grosser are 11 of 20.

    According to success ratio:

    1) Aamir Khan has been the King with success ration of 66%.
    2) SRK – 65%
    3) Hrithik – 55%
    4) Salman -33%
    5) Ranbir – 25%
    6) Akshay – 20%

  • @babaji ka Thullu

Let’s not even discuss about your other fav akki maharaj….he’s beyond box office numbers!

  • @king 11: quallity films work in oversease, mnik was huge grosser in oversease but not in india. Ce was huge grosser in india but not in oversease. Srk doesn’t need kjo to break mnik record, kjo need srk to break the record of mnik in oversease. If a masala film ce n hny did $19 million n $15million respectively then quallity film fan n raees easily do $25 million n $30million

  • I’m 100% sure Srk will give highest grosser in 2015 n equalise other 2khans, egarly waiting for Fan n Raees, the king will be back…

  • Srk is the 1st actor who gave First 5 cr + weekend,10 cr+ weekend, 15 cr+, 20 cr+, 25 cr+ ,50 cr+,100cr + :- & now he will give 150cr weekned too

  • salman and aamir have 4 highest grossers of the year and our fake king. is behind from hritik aamir is also have best suscess average

  • king 11 , The Reason Why MNIK Worked Is SRK And The Issue They Took In Script, Every NRI Faced This Problem So They Got Attached It , If U Think KJo Is Best In Overases Why SOTY Flopped , Same Duo Worked In KANK And KKKG And We See Different Result, It’s Content Man , Star Gives First Week Collection And Script Gives 2nd 3 rd Weeks Collection.

  • its proved dat srk is d most successful megastar of india… he is d megastar of classes n masses. i dont think dat now srk is behind salman actually now srk is behind only aamir. it is so bcoz salman doesnt have any box office record to his name as all d box office records r either wid srk or aamir. infact in 200 cr club 3 movies r of aamir, 2 of srk n 1 of sallu n hrithik.
i agree dat kick gone past d chennai express bt wht wz d use of dat position if sallu’s film doesnt brk any single record n get 2 weeks free run wid huge screen count n hiked tickets prices (more than chennai express bt less than d3). rit now only aamir is giving strong competition to srk. srk cud succeed more in 2014 if he didnt worked wid farah… he shud leave farah forever n shud start to work wid new directors n select fresh n best of scripts as aamir is doing rit now. n as far as sallu is concerned he will finish soon if he stick to d masala/action genre formula…

lastly i wanna say dat wht srk achieved in his younger days, salmir r achieving in deir older age

  • @Goutam and @sweet_heart:
Initially indicine had listed it as 32.5 crores. Later, they edited it and made it to 42.5 crores. It wasn’t my fault.. I wrote that comment only after seeing the figure of Devdas!

  • @indicine what about all time grosser.
    Aamir-4
    Sunny Deol-1
    Hrithik-1 dhoom 2
    Srk-1 CE
Aamir has been on his prime since 2005,He has been giving constantly huge grosser even in noncommercial Zoner like Lagaan, tzp.
Srk has been consistent throughout and no.1 during 2000-2007.
Salman was not much strong before 2009 but he has been giving hits during that time too.
Hrithik started with bang and was comparable to srk from 2000-2006 but now he is behind the Khans.let’s see will he outshined them again in future.
Akshay also had great career and 2007 he was at his high time.

@goutam,@nipun devdas collected 32cr in 2002,because if with 40cr vz can be super hit in 2004 than why devdas was hit only in 2002, while kmg in 2003 collect same and was bn.I think Indicine updated producer figure of devdas just like they use jthj to put srk in top 5 in 2012.

  • @AMAN
So It’s not my mistake if Aamir did’nt worked in any film for 4yrs after divorce, btw what was he doing crying at one corner of his house or was searching for his new wife..lol
And You idiot, hrithik’s script sense sucks donkey’s balls???
    Then what are Guzarish,Jodha Akbar,KMG,D2,Znmd,Agneepath????

What happened to your record seeking hypocrite star’s script sense when he saw crap Dhoom 3’s script!!!
He just went after the record..

Don’t worry you, there are chances of Hrithik in Dhoom 4..then we will see at that time!

Don’t worry about Akki either, your 30year career 12 Hits star will never cross the no. of hits given by akki.
    emraan hashmi=11 hits, Aamir Khan=12 hits…lol

@other genuine aamir fans like @sky,@gj007..
I did’nt had any intentions of writing all this but your moron companions like @AMAN and @Suchit instigate me everytime..I was quite for many days and tolerating all this but sorry not anymore!

  • sharukh khan always rock. Every year there is a new hero no 1 position but sharukh Khan is always there. i hope next year shahrukh khan again …

  • Out of 12 Amir did 8 movies since 2006 which is best condition for superstars to release their movie. Atleast this period assures not to flop any superstar movies. Ajay devgan who has 4-5 hits in first 15 years has now atleast 10 hits post 2006. Srk is most consistent in every period whether good (post 2006) or worst period (2000-2006) or average period (90s)

  • banner wid a list star is a deadly combination not banner alone.if a superstar work wid a big banner chances of getting hit is sure unless movie is tooo bad.
    example:
    salman wid yrf:ek tha tiger
    amir wid yrf:fanaa n d3
    srk wid yrf:jthj,cdi,rnbdj
samjhe dumb srk fans.i hv never said srk is not a big superstar.bt der r many other factors behind his superstardom since 2000-2008.u srk fans give full credit to d3 n raju hirani behind aamir success.if it is true den srk k success k piche bhi yrf n karan johar hain.

  • And for all you faggots saying a box office collections are the only way of saying the actor is successful or not – bullshit for your theory! It doesn’t mean that you always need to be giving the biggest grosser of the year to prove how big you are a star. If it is, we are happy that your two ‘other khans’ have been doing this for the last six years and hence, it is time for you guys (fanboys) to rejoice. Anyways, We were never concerned about our favorite actor being at the top of the box office always. We only believe that films matter irrespective of its collections. Except Happy new year (which was still entertaining as well disappointing and Ra.One (decent attempt for a sci-fi film in our country which was a huge risk proposition), every film of his since 2000’s have been pretty much amazing and has high recall values which is what we are more concerned about.

Be happy that your favorites are going big and that too only since last six years. I just laugh at you guys! We support a much consistent actor who has been entertaining us since last 20 years and we are proud of him! We peeps dont need your taanas and all. Just keep yourselves happy with your fav. stars.

By the way, it seems SRK would be bang on with his next two films that would finally bring him back to his original league. We won’t care if it becomes the highest grosser of the year or not, only concerns us is that it would feel us as happy as he has been making us all these 20 years.

#Raees and #Fan we look forward..

  • I know salman is probably the biggest star now-a-days.but this chart clearly shows that salman was nowhere close to srk before 2010

  • Oh no, again it’s aamir who topped the BO chart! This trend has been like this since 2008, either aamir or salman movies are topping the BO chart. This year we want our king to postpone fan to Christmas and request the makers of tamasha to postpone like he requested to jeetuji, and hike the ticket prices way more than dhoom 3, so that way our king can give highest grosser of the year and equal to aamir who has 6 Top grossers of the year. But our king has only 5.
