The business of Ek Villain might almost touch that of Jai Ho but it has certainly broken the records of collections of Paglapur’s Thakur’s Holiday Releases like Ratoon Point One (Thakur+Kareena+Arjun+Rajni+Sanjay Dutt+PC) , Con 2 (Thakur+PC+Kunal Kapoor+Boman+Farhan+Duggu) and Jab Tak Hai Mojo (Thakur+KAt+Anushka+Yash Chopra+Gulzar+AR Rahman) except for Crappy Express.
Now, rant that Jai Ho was released in more screens. It was non holiday release with comparatively lower ticket price. So, screen numbers hardly helped. Wait for KICK. You will be given a big KICK in your back.

The film was being projected as a thriller,but it is a love story..
Go and watch it as a love story,u will like it..otherwise u may be little disappointed like me..
