It’s a video that a lot of people who have grown up watching Shah Rukh Khan movies can relate to. He was without doubt the most loved star for the most parts of the 90s and 2000s, but somewhere towards the end of the last decade and most part of this decade, Shah Rukh has been disappointing his fans with his film choices.
He let go of films like Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots and Shankar’s Robot, and instead opted to do a film like Ra One.
Titled ‘The Honest FAN Anthem’, the video expresses disappointment over Shah Rukh wasting his acting talent in entertainers like ‘Ra One’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Dilwale’. But expresses hope with the actor signing films like ‘FAN’ and ‘Raees’.

‘Surprise” word is seldom used when one talks about big stars in Bollywood as they are bound to achieve any milestone at box office. Shaharukh Khan has few indifferent last few years at box office and except ”Chennai Express” no other films managed to keep steam at ticket windows after hurried opening. But as we are writing this, some really hugely positive reports are coming from its first show from Gulf.
Lately films with good reports and novel concept had made the mark and going by reports from first show and positive advances, ”Fan” should be able to surprise many with his performance at box office in coming days. Though ”The Jungle Book” might pull it down on day one among masses but then content should prevail. Accept hurricane at box office!

What Logic
SRK body language during promotions of FAN did not look good. I guess there are many defects in the product. Its more likely a very average movie and only a watch for die-hard SRK fans.
I agree with this guy except for what he said about Ra.One movie. Ra.One was a very risky and experimental film as per Indian standards. Superhero movies don’t tend to tell great stories or show acting prowess.
Suddenly, KRK is turned into the best critic for Bhabhijan fans. Rofl.
He gave 4* for first half and 0* for second half saying second half ruined the complete movie.
But reactions coming from neutral audiences are completely different.
They are saying, 2nd half has such a twist which will give you goosebumps.
So in this case, I see only one reason, why KRK is not satisfied with the 2nd half.
Perhaps, he is unable to accommodate that solid twist into his tiny brain and thus, he decided to go ahead with 0*. Lol.
Became a fan of his after watching Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Darr and Bazigar. And still proudly remain as big a fan after watching Dilwale and HNY. Not that I want him to do such movies but just clarifying that nothing has changed for me as a fan over all thise years.

Even a day before release there is No Buzz at all….and the early reports are also bad those who watched in Dubai said the 2nd half is ruined the entire movie…..By looking the earlier report it’s look like even 100cr is difficult for FAN now….

RA-1 was poorly written, poorly directed and poorly edited. Its a definition of Bad movie.
DON-2 was poorly written, average direction & average edited. Its a definition of below ave movie.

For all those questioning why srk rejected 3 idiots, lets remember he was doing mnik then. mnik was an awesome movie and no other actor could have pulled it off in the way srk did.
Yes, in terms of collections 3idiots was better, but as an srk fan, i am very happy with his decision. You do not get a film like mnik everyday. It would have been great had he done both, but if he had to choose one and its mnik over 3 idiots, then I am with him.
As far as collections/records are concerned they change with an every KHAN film. Some things are beyond numbers.. and MNIK was one such film. Having watched FAN, I bet this is gonna be a landmark for SRK once again. Once a king, always a king and if there is anyone who can take over, it should be prince – Junior SRK may be.
