Stardust Awards 2014 Winners: Full List

The awards season has begun and Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year has swept the top awards at Stardust Awards 2014. While other major grossers like Bang Bang and Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty were completely ignored, Salman Khan’s Kick was given one award for the biggest grosser of 2014 (which strangely comes before the release of the year’s most awaited film PK).

Shahrukh Khan won ‘Star Of The Year’ award, which is Stardust’s equivalent to the Best Actor (Popular) trophy. His leading lady Deepika Padukone walked away with the Star Of The Year (Female) trophy. Gauri Khan won ‘Film Of The Year’ award for Happy New Year and the ‘Dream Director’ award went to Farah Khan.

Stardust ‘International Icon’ Award went to Amitabh Bachchan, while ‘Pride Of the Film Industry’ award was given away to Anupam Kher. Shahid Kapoor won Best Actor Drama, Priyanka Chopra won Best Actress Drama.

Queen won quite a few awards too – Searchlight (Critics) Best Film of 2014, Searchlight Best Director and Best Actress. Jodi of the year went to Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor!

Even Govinda won an award for Best Supporting Actor, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Kick), Abhishek Bachchan (Happy New Year), Rajkumar Rao (Queen) and other noteworthy performances were ignored.

SRK also won the Stardust Achievers award for Best Actor in Thriller / Action, again for Happy New Year.

  • Oh no that’s why I love srk he is man who buys award for show off .Thank god and salute to salman and amir for accepting any awards. ..

  • Film of the year HNY ….. wow (the most irritating movie of the year)…. Iss se bara joke aur kuch ho hi nahi sakta ,why don’t they given the award to “action jackson”…baki sab bekar….like Highway,@ueen,holiday,Mary,Mardani,……… Bakwaas award…..

  • @sss you have not disappointed me by continuing your hypocrisy here..HNY helipad scene was first of all needless in the story..I would rate Bang Bang and Kick for stylized action and Mardaani for it’s raw action ahead of HNY..

Even Heropanti had better action than HNY!!!

Also FYI..Kick remains the biggest Hit this year..HNY wasn’t a big success in the overseas arena and is SRK’s most disappointing movie after Ra.One..so get your facts right before barking..

  • @sid_original,as expected your crap will not end at all, lol. The Helipad scene is most important which has a relation with their dance competition.HNY is a comedy with little but master action thriller not a masala entertainer like CE/kick,so huge expectation from this is not good but I agreed it has average script unlike peoples like you who even can enjoy worst films even than RA ONE/HNY like bodyguard/dabang2/talash/d3 and now came out to bark against HNY.really heropanti has better action, hope you didn’t take any drugs, lol.also look they gave award to nadiadwala for highest grosser in domestic kick, now don’t cry.

HNY beated kick worldwide.even though having no good script it did 15+million USD in overseas arena, noe it’s a small thing for you?yeah why not KING HATERS always cries like that and WE enjoy always.KING KHAN is star of the year and HNY is the most entertained film WORLDWIDE.Each and every award well deserved.

  • Lol cant even imaging on what basis have this gyzz have given so many awards to hny where are the movies like queen ,kick, bang bang, citylights…

  • Well.. im a die hard SRK-DEEPIKA fan but i must admit that HNY doesnt deserve a single award to be sincere.. i wouldnt mind if it got other secondary categories like cinematography, effects etc. But with films like Bang Bang, Holiday, Queen, Haider & Mary Kom; I dont think there’s a place for HNY. But its obviously because SRK fans voted their ass out for him. But stardust awards have really lost its dignity i must say. We should wait for Filmfare Awards, IIFA & The Grand National Awards where we’ll get to see what awards is like. STILL A HUGE SRK FAN THOUGH!!!

  • Film of the Year – Gauri Khan (Happy New Year)????

    Dream Director – Farah Khan????

    Haaa!!! haaa!! haaa!!!
Now i understand why aamir not turn up for award functions….
