Star Guild Awards 2015 have released their list of nominations for the year 2015. The ‘Best Actor’ nominations are interesting as it’s a mixture of the top popular and critically acclaimed performances of the year. Shahrukh Khan (HNY), Varun Dhawan (Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania), Shahid Kapoor (Haider), Rajkummar Rao (Citylights), Arjun Kapoor (2 States) and Aamir Khan (PK) have been nominated. Hrithik Roshan (Bang Bang), Akshay Kumar (Holiday) and Salman Khan (Kick) have been left out.
In the Star Guild Awards 2015 Best Actress category, Alia Bhatt has been nominated for two films – Highway and 2 States. Kangana Ranaut (Queen), Deepika Padukone (Happy New Year), Priyanka Chopra (Mary Kom), Rani Mukherji (Mardaani) and Anushka Sharma (PK) have also been nominated.
A record 11 nominations for 2 States, 10 nominations each for PK, Haider and Queen!

srk best performance was in my name is khan, nowdays they got hit status due to high promotion as we see in HNY opened 44 cr record but not good content n performance make him behind kick n pk.
salman is same always but jay ho serious type role didnot suits him, he suits mix of crazy masala and little classy movie his movies are increasing records.
aamir khan is very smart in choosing scripts and his performance make us always believing to love his movie and get repeated audience and get success.

The award hosts have made a mistake. 2 states screenplay was written by Chetan Bhagat back in 2010. He sold that as a novel. LOL.
And why would anyone adapt Chetan’s screenplay? (Unless you’re a talented Abhishek Kapoor) You can copy paste it. It has enough masala for harebrained Bhagat fanboys.

I agree happy New year wasnt a well made movie. But SRK even in that movie was top notch. And even Indicine had mentioned he is super as far as his dialogue delivery and expressions were concerned. So I guess I dont have to remind u that SRK is not nominated in best film category but best actor category.

And what do u mean by final collections also prove it? With 45 crores openin, HNY did only 203 crores while BB did 181 crores with 27.5 crores opening. The trending is enough to prove which movie has been accepted more.
And , I feel 90% of the sensible users of indicine will agree with the Fact that Hro in BangBang was Better than SRK in Hny. I know BangBang had a poor script and same goes with HNY. But here we’re talking about Performances. SRK wasn’t bad in HNY.bt the film never allowed him to perform.

@Noam: You can even check out the reviews. Many critics bashed Bang Bang,but Still they admired Hrithik’s performance. But in HNY,many went gaga over Abhishek’s performance and didn’t tell much about SRK’s performance. SRK was not bad in that movie, but that performance cann’t be placed higher than hro’s performance in Bang Bang as Hro shined in that film even though script and direction sucked. HNY never allowed SRK to shine.
And I am talking about Trending in the collections of both the films.
HNY’s weekend collection and opening collection were 108 crores and 45 crores repectively and Lifetime was 203 crores. It shows how it was rejected by audience. Bang Bang also trended poorly. But still, it trended better as its first 3 day collection was 72 crores with 95 crores 4 day weekend(much less than 4 days of HNY) and lifetime became 181 crores.
And better not talk about The votes in that article. SRK has even got more votes than Amir. Lol
frankly, I don’t hate SRK either. But look who started the fight. It’s your own mate Zeeshan who first called Hro Shivering star and criticized him.
There were news about some super stars demanding surety of awards/nominations along with his co star in the function. Then only he will attend award function. Now I am looking at SRK and Deepika for their ‘Great’ performances in HNY. :-D
