It is all known fact that the theatrical trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year will be released on 15th August with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns. Now, the buzz is that the trailer of the Farah Khan film will be one of the longest trailers released in Bollywood.
According to sources, the trailer of the film will be more than 3 minutes long. SRK and the makers of the film wanted to the showcase its scale (which, from what we’ve heard, is unbelievable large) and also give all his co-stars enough screen-time in the trailer.
A source close to the development revealed “The film has shaped up very well and SRK is very happy with the end result. He wants the audience to gauge the massive canvas of the film, enjoy the rich production values and wants all his co-stars to get equal face time in the trailer. Hence he asked his editor to cut a lengthy promo and show every aspect of the film.”
The theatrical trailer of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara (3:16 minutes) and Holiday – A Solider Is Never Off Duty were the other trailers released in recent times with runtime of more than 3 minutes. The average length of most trailers is usually between 120 to 150 seconds (2 to 2.5 minutes). The trailer of Kick was 2 minutes 37 seconds whereas the trailer of Singham Returns was 2 minutes 39 seconds.
There are also reports that Shahrukh will be going all out to promote Happy New Year mid-August onwards. The idea is to be subtle yet effective this time around (not in your face or borderline annoying like Ra.One).
Well, we can’t wait! The tagline of the film sounds more like ‘Iss Diwali.. Todenge records India waale’ doesn’t it?

SRK sarcastically stated, “2day’s News HNY trailer is longest. Casting for Rohit film done. Now that somebody has done all my work for me, guess I can take the year off..”
What is more astonishing is that many reputed sites are carrying this news without any authentication.
What is known till now that Happy New Year Theatrical Trailer might be released with Singham Returns which is set for release on 15th August. We don’t know whether film trailer is ready or not yet. Yes, fans of SRK, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan might want the trailer to be one of the longest for sure.
As if now news of Happy New Year Trailer being one of the longest is absolute false and don’t give much weightage to that. HNY is set for release on Diwali and is set to take box office by storm

i am very excited for trailer.
there is a chance that kick will touch 200 cr but 230 cr or more than this require high rating,quality or very excellent story line which i think kick lacks action scenes are very good directed lets see how much it grab.
in my opinion i think top 3 grosser would be
1) HNY
2) KICK

Well, by circus i mean, where lots of thing happen, Action, dance, music, drama. Its not i am degrading anyone. To me, The Avenger, omar akbar anthony, sholey recently Dhoom3 is a circus type movie, with lots of actor doing all the things.
Anyhow, On Rohit shetty’s next there will be srk and two young actors as par sajid farhad the screenplay write. Personally, i would like varun and arjun play those yound actors role.
Everyone is blaming FHARA tagging her as a bad director.
But the reality is he wrote tge script and screenplay of MHN and OSO only both of which were highly successful and OSO was just out of the world success like D3 of today.
While TMK script and screenplay was written by SIRISH KUNDER and FHARA only directed it.
