Karan Johar’s evergreen romantic film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ completed 16 years yesterday. Shahrukh Khan the lead star of the film, thanked the entire team, including producer Yash Johar, director Karan, music composer duo Jatin – Lalit and co-stars Kajol and Rani.
“KKHH. Thank u Karan Kajol Rani Jatin Lalit…& everyone who made the film happen. And of course Tom Uncle (Yash Johar)” SRK tweeted.
However, SRK forgot to thank his co-star Salman Khan who made a guest appearance in the film. Salman’s role was considered important enough for him to win the Filmfare Best Actor in a Supporting Role award.
Karan Johar tweeted “16years ago…#kuchkuchhotahai.:.. the film that gave me everything I have today… indelible memories…”

@bhai fans, how can salman make KKHH into atbb when the other movies he released in 1998/1999 where he played lead role were just hits/modest hits/average/flops. It seems that he needs SRK to play lead role in a movie where he is just a supporting character in order to give ATBB lol, too much fun!

KKHH and swades are most overrated film of srk for me, while kkhh has average out of logic content and other was more a documentary than the film.
Salman was definitely the only reason for which I had seen kkhh once otherwise its an avg film altogether no where near to ddlj or MPK.
Someone said here best romantic film after ddlj,you moron MPK was far better than kkhh any day, both likably and collection wise,highest grosser of decade with young non popular debut faces,it self shows what curiosity and appreciation it had.Yes Ddlj is best romantic film not for me but most of people.
Ladki badi anjaani and Saajan ji track was fabulous.Salman was too great and lovable,though supporting role and extended cameo doesn’t guarantee huge sucess but if overall film is good than fan if that actor watching the film,best example OMG if there is no Akshay in the film it couldn’t collect more than 50+ forget 80cr.

Dialogue of kkhh,him ek baar jeete h,pyar bhi ek baar karte and shaadi bhi ek bar karte h.Than what we guys learn from film that srk is lying he himself started to love kajol so his love for Rani was myth.Lol
I didn’t understand how could kajol remain unmarried till 9 years after srk marriage and she only agree to marriage with Salmab exactly when makers try to build srk enterabce in her life following in film. Though films are not logic but its simply not understandable for me.
Lootera is much classier than k2h2. I watched k2h2 on tv in childhood. Nice movie,but not great. VZ n devdas are my favs. @navin who d hell r u to criticize a legend like farida ji.
Whats the big deal? he also didnt mention anumpam kher, farida jalal or the girl who played his daughter. He mentioned the main people behind the film and he did say ‘and everyone’ which includes salman.
Salman just had a small cameo in the film. He had a cameo in many other films which were flops.
Salman does not need Srk tweet or thanks or love or whatever. He got enough love from his family, friends & fan. I somewhat think Srk purposedly avoided his name else some may have called it as publicity gimmick before HNY. I am saying this not bcoz Srk is intelligent but Salman is bigger star than Srk now (atleast in India) considering his fan following !!!!!!!!!
It is funny the same srk fans bashed Talaash (Kareena in Ghost role) for illogical plot but praises Mohabbatein & KKHH where Ash & Rani appears as spirits !!!!!! Ab logic kahaan gaya !!!!!!!!!

That was some year! KKHH blockbuster despite clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Aamir’s Ghulam grossed less than even Bobby Deol’s Soldier and Ajay’s Pyar toh hona hi tha! Not even in top 5 hits of the year! SRK and Salman were the only major draws in 90s.
I am die hard fan of srk i love his all movies love and respect for him always!

Frankly speaking..i liked that movie just coz of Salman Bhai..who totally owned SRK after his entry!!! Only Salman Bhai could do justice to the role of Aman..even KJo acknowledged that his role was important to carry the story forward!!!
Our King clearly knows that he is fading in domestic arena..that’s why he didn’t take Bhai’s name who’s ruling India right now!!!
