Shahrukh Khan has officially announced his next film with Rohit Shetty, which goes on floors on March 3rd. The film will have a massive star cast comprising of 17 actors. Our sources have revealed that most of those 17 actors will be known faces.
Addressing the media from the sets of his upcoming television show ‘India Poochega – Sabse Shaana Kaun?’, Shahrukh revealed a little more than we already know about the film. Below are some excerpts:
Has the film been titled ‘Dilwale’?: “The only thing we are keeping under the wraps is the title of the film, which will have 17 actors in all.”
Why hasn’t the cast been announced yet?: “I believe in documents and the paperwork to happen first. It needs to be signed first before we talk about it. We should not announce it just because we had a talk about it with certain people and are keen to have them onboard. I am old school that way, maybe”
When will the film go on floors?: “We start shooting for the film March 4 onwards. So by March 20, we will have the entire cast in hand.”
Is it a Christmas release?: “Rohit’s film will definitely come on Christmas this year. That much I can assure you”
Is Kajol doing the film?: “I would like to reserve the grand announcement if Kajol is making a comeback in the film. All I can say for now is that it will be a Red Chillies film directed by Rohit Shetty. We will finalise the cast and make a final announcement in the next 10 days”
Further details on the title of the film (expected to be ‘Dilwale’) and entire star cast will be revealed next week. Rohit Shetty is expected to release a statement to the media before the film goes on floors.

@NVS – Ohh no bro…what are you doing…we all are claiming that D3 earned 4$ million in China while its 3$ m in reality that too because of action thriller gener…In 2000 screens it did just 3$ m and suffered a drop of 80% in week 2…:-(

You can give only excuses, Don 2 was an action genre what happened to it during xmas 2011 ? Does chinese even know who Chetan Bhagat is ?? Secondly, 3 Idiots was offered to srk first, wud you have given entire credit to script if srk had acted in it ? HNY was not released in 5000 screeen alone how can they release it in China with so many screens ? This is how your king spread things through PR n got popular in overseas.
