Shahrukh Khan has officially announced his next film with Rohit Shetty, which goes on floors on March 3rd. The film will have a massive star cast comprising of 17 actors. Our sources have revealed that most of those 17 actors will be known faces.
Addressing the media from the sets of his upcoming television show ‘India Poochega – Sabse Shaana Kaun?’, Shahrukh revealed a little more than we already know about the film. Below are some excerpts:
Has the film been titled ‘Dilwale’?: “The only thing we are keeping under the wraps is the title of the film, which will have 17 actors in all.”
Why hasn’t the cast been announced yet?: “I believe in documents and the paperwork to happen first. It needs to be signed first before we talk about it. We should not announce it just because we had a talk about it with certain people and are keen to have them onboard. I am old school that way, maybe”
When will the film go on floors?: “We start shooting for the film March 4 onwards. So by March 20, we will have the entire cast in hand.”
Is it a Christmas release?: “Rohit’s film will definitely come on Christmas this year. That much I can assure you”
Is Kajol doing the film?: “I would like to reserve the grand announcement if Kajol is making a comeback in the film. All I can say for now is that it will be a Red Chillies film directed by Rohit Shetty. We will finalise the cast and make a final announcement in the next 10 days”
Further details on the title of the film (expected to be ‘Dilwale’) and entire star cast will be revealed next week. Rohit Shetty is expected to release a statement to the media before the film goes on floors.

The buzz of this movie is increasing day by day . Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh delivered a Highest Grosser the last time they came together . But CE was not the Highest Grossing movie of the year . This time it will release at the end so it has every chance to become the Highest Grosser of 2015 . This year Salman and Shah Rukh will fight for the first 2 Spots . Even 3 if all the movies are able to perform as per their potential . If Fan releases this year then SRK will have 2 releases which will be a treat for his fans . Salman already has 2 releases, Akshay has 3, Ranbir has 2 and Ajay has one . So the 2nd Half of this year looking huge and exciting . But still Aamir and Hrithik will be missed . Logic behind actress name before actor. Had it not been a srk movie hny ppl will presume deepika is huger than srk. Normally esp in 70s 80s u could see hema malini name before Amitabh but after let’s say Rajesh khanna or sanjeev Kumar. That’s a statement. Later u cold see madhuri dixit or sridevi name before my favourite Akshay Kumar despite how huge he was. Sridevi name before Sunny deol but after Anil kapoor. Kareena before Arjun rampal. Ash before Abishek. Rani before vivek. So was surprise seeing deepika name before srk but I think that’s d only shah rukh movie that a lead actress name came before his apart from d juhi chawla of early career. So for happy new year I think it was just based on srk goodwill to allow deepika name before his. Shah rukh name will always come before any present actress b it even madhuri dixit. I think d only other current actors whose name comes before super star diva madhuri today is Srk we saw it in koyla. Aamir khan we saw it Dil. Salman khan saw it hahk and Ajay devgn we saw it in yeh rasta pyar ka. Even superstar Akshay my idol name comes after madhuri.
All am saying is d names before names shd b done just like in Hollywood based on d hero or heroine status in d industry. If I were srk pls next movie d name king khan shd b number 1 before any deepika or wateva! I really take this STARRING NAMES very critical! As a critic. Even south mega stars once they merge wit Bollywood their names comes before d Bollywood actors apart from some surprise areas where I saw Anil kapoor name before rajnikant. What happened to “Raees”? Is it postponed? I was more exciting for it. SRK is doing another movie with Rohit Shetty and according to rumors, he might work with Farah again 2016. All the best directors want to work with him, out of all those directors, why does he want to work with them (Rohit & Farah) again? Granted “Chennai Express” was a good change in genre for him after a while, but he followed it up by “Happy New Year”, Rohit’s film has potential to be entertaining, but SRK could do a lot better with his stardom. He doesn’t have to work with them again unless they have a strong and compelling script. “Chennai Express” and “Happy New Year” might have earned money, but they also hurt his image a bit, most of non-SRK fans made fun of them, even on TV events. I think he has earned enough money and should be concentrating on his image and to build his legacy even further.
Either way, waiting for “Fan” and “Raees”, they look compelling.

Happy New Year has grossed a very poor $213,805 or Rs 1.33 Crores from 1051 reported Locations in China until Tuesday as per Rentrak
Happy New year released on Feb 12 ahead of valentine day weekend in China but failed to make it to top 10 in China.
In fact in the weekend Happy New year grossed only $139,290 in China as per Rentrak
In comparison Dhoom 3 had grossed $1.35 Million in China in its first weekend while 3 Idiots had grossed $1.15 Million.
Dhoom 3 is the highest grossing hindi movie in china with a gross of around $4 Million while 3 Idiots had a lifetime gross or around $ 3 Million
