Both Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardar continued their good run at the domestic box office. In 10 days (first week extended week) the combined total of both the Diwali releases was 181.66 crore.
Both films remained steady in second Friday, although Son Of Sardar had bigger drops on Wednesday and Thursday. Jab Tak Hai Jaan crossed the 100 crore mark on it’s 11th day, while SOS is likely to join the 100 crore club by the end of Week 2.

Ajay Devgn has proved himself after this clash. It’s great how his movie at BO is neck to neck with a movie which stars SRK, Katrina and is directed by Yash Chopra whose passing away made sure no critic wold give a bad review. Despite Yash Raj Frauds stealing all the quality Single screens and leaving Ajay with horrible, third class SS, SOS has managed to garner lots of money. It is now making more than JTHJ on daily basis and will fall short of just 10 crores compared to JTHJ at the end of the run. This has been a great victory for Ajay because SRk fans and Supporters in the industry were claiming JTHJ would crush SOS at BO and would challenge highest collection record

I think in Indian Box office SOS has scored over JTHJ… Box office collections of SOS till friday is 78cr and For JTHJ is 94cr as per BOI..reasons are following
1)JTHJ jas power combo of Yash chopra+SRK+Katrina+ARR+romance against Ajay devgn + mass entertainer+Sanjay dutt+Sonakshi former certainly scores in star power and brand value but BOX office difference of only 16cr after 11 days certainly shows JTHJ performed below expectation…
2) SOS has got less number of screen and poor quality single screen … Assuming SOS and JTHJ has similar no shows in Multiplexes but SOS main target audience was Single screen and since YRF cleverly took away quality screen but still difference of 16cr
3) I believe SRK star power is more than Ajay devgn and clash wud meant causing more harm to Ajay than SRK but diff of just 16cr does not justifies potential of JTHJ

he did Khamoshi..though manisha koirala nd nana patekar steal the show…’Phir milenge’..critically acclaimed but failed at box office…….
