Vivek celebrates for not touching a cigarette off-shoot after having reluctantly smoked on shoot for the movie Shootout At Lokhandwala.
It’s known that Vivek Oberoi doesn’t smoke. But, for Apoorva Lakhiya’s Shootout At Lokhandwala, he was asked to smoke on screen, which he was initially apprehensive of doing. Vivek plays the role of gangster Maya Dolas. “I was apprehensive because I hate smoking and I am also an anti-smoking ambassador. I had to smoke because I play a gangster and it was essential for the role, so I reluctantly agreed,” says Vivek.
Did Vivek feel like taking up smoking again? Vivek says, “Forget about getting back to it. I am celebrating that I have not touched a cigarette since the shoot. I just hate cigarettes”. The actor has been actively involved with certain NGOs and has been working for anti-smoking awareness.
