Singh Is Bling has recorded the 16th highest weekend of all time. The film has collected Rs 54.44 crore in its first weekend at the box office, beating Akshay Kumar’s previous highest weekend total set by Brothers during the Independence Day weekend.

  • As I said earlier the underperformance of Mumbai circuit has hurt the film big time has the circuit performed well with little bit more help from south circuit the movie could have registered weekend of 65-75 or even more than that …….

  • Well well well, Indicine is feeling sad while publishing official inflated figures of SIB, but they were very proud when they including CE paid previews with weekend figures to put srk above in the list, they were shamelessly supported K3 official of 25.2 cr first day, while there first day estimation was just 17cr on day1. Seriously. Being equal to every one.
    I am supporting BOI figures every time and will do as officials are highly manipulated.
    Still if movie not trended well at bo, you can’t make audience fool.
    Even 7cr monday figure is alarming after 19cr on sunday, even flat 50% less than saturday figure.
    @babaji do remember bang bang wasn’t a clean hit also from BOI, it was semi hit.

  • the top 6 weekends are given by khans, they are overhyped, talentless, why the hell people waste their money on these useless three, aamir has been popularized for the quality of his movies, but his previous three movies pk,dhoom3 and talaash are very ordinary, he gained popularity from ghajini and 3 idiots, which were directed by murgadoss and raju hirani, he fools audiences by transforming his body, which is not a big deal for celebrities, these three spread fake news about their quarrels only to gain popularity, srk saved salman’s career by doing so

  • Its lovely to see that in top 4 official figures list,Aamir has 2 films with only one holiday that was Sunday, while others has 2 holidays, still not much ahead than him. Outstanding.

    My below comment is just for Salman fan @james who I have seen keep posting rubbish against Aamir, he said he don’t know Aamir before Ghajini. Let’s show him who is Aamir khan.
    As per him Aamir doesn’t exist in 90’s decade while Salman & srk does, that decade Salman has 4 highest grosser of the year, Saajan,Hank,hssh,KKHH. While we know who was lead actor in Saajan and KKHH, so practically Salman has 2 that decade,SRK- DDLJ,KKHH, Aamir also has 2, Dil and Raha Hindustani both were solo lead. In that decade He has both cult classics like DHKMN,Rangeela,Sarfarosh,AAA,JJWS while box office success with Rangeela ,ISHQ,Ghulam,Sarfarosh and biggest with Dil and Raja hindustani.
    Now come in 2000-2009, Salman top hits were No entry in which he was not in full fledged role, it was more a Anil Kapoor show, Partner- Again multidtarrer and Govinda was praised for his comedy, though I agree without Salman both were not big but that time Salman solo films were not been hits as well. Mujhse Shaadi karogi( Akshay took the cake). The decade was surround Salman with court cases and not so applauding Films, his biggest success came with Tere Naam alone.
    Now look at Aamir, who you don’t know before Ghajini.
    Lagaan was 3rd highest grosser in 2001, when that kind of films doesn’t work and that also with clashing Gadar which was a box office monster,DCH was also in top 10 ahead of Hrithik,Srk others films than k3g.
    2002-2004 unfortunately he has no release, 2005 Mangal pandey was a record opener and despite being a disappointment was the 3rd highest grosser of the year.
    In 2006, His RDB became first film to touch 50cr in multiplex era, Fanna was the 4th highest grosser of the year, while top 3 occupied with sequal releases.
    In 2007, Aamir tzp broke the every existing record of a differed kind of film, became 4 th highest grosser of the year. Since Ghajini you know the Aamir khan, no need to tell. Since Aamir debut there was no phase of Aamir when his films not appreciated or loved, they might be not huge hits but were applauded by all. Salman was nothing big as solo in 2000-2009 but Aamir was always present in each decade, had 2 highest grosser in each decade and that were being the solo crowd pillar, Aamir films with noticeable supporting cast success were ISHQ and DCH only, while in Rangeela Jackie has supporting role. Aamir has achieved every big success being as solo hero in each decade, only d3 could be said his easy going All time blockbuster, other than that he was the core reason of success of his films.
    I still thing Ghajini wasn’t a easy film for Aamir to be huge success just because of remake, as neither he was regarded as action hero nor he has that kind of personality, not the masala generation was too popular that time. Still Aamir raised top that time and not a second thought you thing while watching Ghajini that short height chocolate boy Aamir can’t kicked the goons so easily. That was the sheer presence and body language of Aamir.

    I hope now you know who is Aamir, if not than god bless you, as Dangal which is Kangal and disaster for you, shows again who is Aamir khan.
