The three biggest stars of Bollywood – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are all going to reach a landmark this year. But unlike the box office records that their movies are touching, these superstars are all equal when it comes to this particular landmark.
We are talking about their birthdays! The Khan trio are all going to turn 50 this year. Aamir is the oldest of the three, he turns 50 on March 14. Then comes Shahrukh’s 50th birthday on November 2. And finally, the youngest of the three superstars, Salman Khan celebrates his 50th birthday on December 27.
Having ruled Bollywood for almost 2 decades, it’ll be interesting to see how many more years they continue to remain at the top of their game. (article continued below the image)
Aamir Khan – Salman Khan – Shahrukh Khan
Salman Khan has two films this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Shahrukh Khan has one confirmed release, Yash Raj Films’ Fan, there are reports that he could have a big release this Christmas, a film directed by Rohit Shetty! Aamir has no film release, although reliable sources have confirmed that he will either sign Dangal or Shankar’s Robot 2.

There is a limit for everything….so i guess Khans can rule for another 10 year or so….After 60’s i dont think they will have the charm to carry a film like what it happened for Amitabh Bachaan/Rajesh Kanna…

Message to Aamir Sir..You are keeping the flag of Indian cinema high.. Please don’t have long breaks between your releases.. we want to see you atleast twice in a year!!!

Aamir is a legend, some blame him for not doing enough movies or just working in script oriented movies. Aamir always believe in content or script. His policy is to give 200% for each movie n chill out for 2 years that gives him enough time to charge his batteries n get back to next movie with immense energy n dedication.
SRK has setup a different trend n into a different league when comes to consistency. He should stop doing masala or Farah Khan type movies n do only performance oriented roles. Although he has not given a single highest grosser of the year since OSO (2007) but he managed to still remain among top 3 which is commandable. No more romantic roles please !!!!!!!!!
Salman, no matter what audience or fans or critics or media expect from him he will continue to do what he likes. His ‘I dont give a damn!’ attitude is liked by many people n he always listen to his heart. On serious note, I want to see him in some content based movies which also has a bit of entertainment. The biggest drawback his fans may not like him in roles like Swades, Lagaan or Chak De India. There is no shortage of Entertainment when comes to Salmans movies !!!!!!!!!!!!
Each of them are great in their own way. No one can predict how long they will rule, but my guess is Aamir n Srk has more advantage to sustain in character roles compare to Salman. Salman really need to come up with something different, if he clicks then he may race ahead of Aamir n Srk !!!!!!!!!!!!!
SRK will be around at least 12 yrs, Mr. Perfaketionist maybe 5-7 yrs and Lallu about 3 yrs depending on the speed of our judicial system’s decision making and end of masala era.
Khans will rule for more many years. Salman the intelligent of all will rule more than the other 2 khans. Salman has mass hysteria, who will rule for another 15-20 years for sure. He is blockbuster khan.
2) Aamir had also chances after Salman. He will try to do more character actors roles more briliantly.
3) SRK already lost his charm of ramantic hero….He is business man. He should try to give chances to more new faces and he should settle in his production house.
