The three biggest stars of Bollywood – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are all going to reach a landmark this year. But unlike the box office records that their movies are touching, these superstars are all equal when it comes to this particular landmark.
We are talking about their birthdays! The Khan trio are all going to turn 50 this year. Aamir is the oldest of the three, he turns 50 on March 14. Then comes Shahrukh’s 50th birthday on November 2. And finally, the youngest of the three superstars, Salman Khan celebrates his 50th birthday on December 27.
Having ruled Bollywood for almost 2 decades, it’ll be interesting to see how many more years they continue to remain at the top of their game. (article continued below the image)
Aamir Khan – Salman Khan – Shahrukh Khan
Salman Khan has two films this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Shahrukh Khan has one confirmed release, Yash Raj Films’ Fan, there are reports that he could have a big release this Christmas, a film directed by Rohit Shetty! Aamir has no film release, although reliable sources have confirmed that he will either sign Dangal or Shankar’s Robot 2.

I don’t think anyone can say for sure how many years will each of them will rule.
When Amitabh had a sudden fall in the late 80s after achieving stardom, that no one ever did before him, all thought that was the end of it. But he rose like a Phoenix who not only survived but gave memorable performances like Paa, Aks, Cheeni Kum and many more…
I guess all the three Khans have potential to continue longer.
Salman is pure mass hysteria – it stays to be seen how many years this evergreen bachelor will survive on his charm. He is too unpredictable. What will happen only future can tell.
Srk – a smart businessman – he has lost his charisma as the cool dude of romance, and so when he is now ousted by the likes of KJo. So what he does? He moves to new generation directors.
He also keeps tab on successful directors and uses his network to rope them in for eg., Rohit Shetty, Farhan Akhtar, to name a few. If this move of signing the new gen directors and successful directors clicks, he can continue on a very long journey. He has a good network of people over the years to take him the distance.
Aamir – the perfectionist – he is the only one of the three who we can say somewhat that he will continue looking to reinvent himself with every new film and do things that will make him always in the limelight and survive for years to come. People wait for his films, as PK just proved, and i don’t think he can ever be stopped.
I personally feel that now they should stop running behind collections/records and should start doing content oriented movies. They will turn 50 and now larger-than-life characters won’t suit them. They should leave these roles for youngsters like Varun/Sid/Ranveer and should start doing PK/MNIK kind of movies.
Because like others,even their stardom is bound to decline with age and they can keep themselves in race for a long run only when they will change the track.

Aamir has completed 27 years in the industry, Salman has completed 27 years in the industry and SRK has completed 23 years in the industry . All of them have achieved respect, love and trust from audiences . We will get to see 2 khans this year but 1 Khan will be missing . If we compare Khans to Big B then Big B started his career in 1969 and in 1973 he became a Superstar . Till 1984 he was at his peak . Till 2000, Big B played lead characters . After Mohabbtein, he started playing character roles . When Big B did Mohabbtein he was 58 years old . So let us see how many more years will Khans dominate !!!!!!!

Robot 2 with Aamir- hhhmmm I think he should play the villain in it but if hes the protagonist then Im sure he will play the role intelligently so lets hope he signs a film, any film as its a shame we see so less of him….
Looking forward to Aamir and Salman bhais birthdays the most- kings birth date is questionable as he looks like he celebrated his 50th birthday some 10 years ago…..
i think next 10years only khans will rule because no other actor is looking like star right now they all are making films just to get hit not to give entertainment n message to people.

they’ll keep ruling, but that doesn’t mean no one from the younger lot will challenge them for the no 1 position.
Khans have set huge benchmarks, but everything has a expiry date and I don’t think their time is over yet. But I firmly believe from next year they’ll have regular competition from someone of this generation, if u know who I mean..
