In what is a first for a Bollywood celebrity at the iconic Madame Tussauds in London, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wax statue was re-dressed as Gaurav Chanana – the character he plays in his upcoming film ‘FAN’.
The most recognised Indian actor in the world, is currently in the United Kingdom to promote his film.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, FAN is expected to take the global box office by storm, as analysts have predicted that the film will cross the $20 million mark.
The highest overseas grosser so far this year is $7 million total of ‘Kapoor & Sons’, which could be surpassed by FAN in its first weekend itself.

Guys I’m very excited!! I live in Dubai and the movie is releasing on Thursday itself!!! Very excited to watch the movie at 9:15 am show tomorrow!!!! I took leave from my work too!!! Totally excited!!!! Only thing for me tomorrow is to watch FAN movie in the theaters and enjoy lunch and dinner outside… Never gonna return home until night… Will watch 4 times atleast on Thursday!!!!
