Two relatively small films will be competing against Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year during Diwali 2014. One from the director of Aamir Khan’s ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’ and the other from the director of films like ‘Masti’ and ‘Dhamaal’ series of films.
While Indra Kumar’s Super Nani marks the comeback of the evergreen Rekha, Ketan Mehta’s Rang Rasiya will feature the supremely talented Randeep Hooda.

Rang Rasiya: Rang Rasiya is a drama film based on the life of the 19th-century Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma. The film is directed Ketan Mehta, produced by Deepa Sahi and Anand Mahendroo. It stars Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen and Triptha Parashar in lead roles. The film was shot way back in 2007 and released in November 2008 at the London Film Festival. Release Date: 23rd October
Super Nani: Touted as Rekha’s much-awaited comeback to commercial mainstream films, Super Nani also stars Sharman Joshi, Shweta Kumar, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor. The light-hearted entertainer gives a strong message to women that their power lies within themselves. Rekha plays the role of Bharti Bhatia and Sharman essays the part of her grandson in the movie. Release Date: 24th October

Wow!! That’s Awesome News!! So, my first choice will be Rang Rasiyaa and then Super Nani!! It will be the two movies all the way from fourth day onward!! Anybody dares clash with this star. He had some pulls of audience a few years back. But he can’t deliver hits nowadays with the strong back-ups of casts and the directors..
There are ample of holidays in Diwali, any good movie can work.. Last time, Himesh clashed with Ra.One, his movie earned well for the size of the film. Besides, the makers know that this Washing Machine will be like Ratoon Point One. So, they don’t want to lose out the opportunity….
