Shahid Kapoor movies in 2011

Shahid Kapoor has been missing from action for a while now – his last two releases were the much delayed Milenge Milenge and the moderately successful Badmaash Company. The actor who is currently working with his father Pankaj Kapoor on Mausam, will soon be signing a couple of big films.

First up is a Kunal Kohli directed love story which he has already signed and the film is expected to go on floors soon. It will be interesting to watch what Kunal, who has directed blockbusters like Hum Tum and Fanaa, can do with Shahid.

The other is for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. On asked if the film is a epic love story titled ‘Heer Ranjha’, the actor denied the rumour saying he cannot confirm the title nor the subject, just yet. But what he did confirm is, he will definitely be working with Sajid, who is known for making films on a lavish budget.

With Mausam likely to release in the third quarter of 2011, the Kunal Kohli film might just release before the end of the year. For Shahid fans, two releases in 2011 should be plenty, afterall the actor is known for being super choosy.
