Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone won the top acting honours at the Screen Awards 2016. Kabir Khan was declared the Best Director.
The popular awards were swept by Shah Rukh Khan, who won two awards. One for the Best Actor (Popular) and he shared the Best Jodi award with his Dilwale co-star Kajol.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) and Priyanka Chopra (Bajirao Mastani) won in the Supporting Actors category.

Again SRK, the worst performer of the year! Baby & Drishyam is out, where award-winning performance is there by Akshay and Ajoy. SRK is the continuous purchaser of award. He has purchased the media. Salman also not deserve any award. Everybody thinks about 100 cr. business but not about the quality of the film. Akshay n Ajoy are doing the most deglamourised roles which is followed by Ranveer Singh.

I have seen a large number of polls held on internet including those on indicine and whenever srk is involved in a poll I have seen him winning almost all the times. It does not necessarily mean that he is the biggest star but simply that he is apparently the most popular star on internet.

Fine SRK may not be deserving, as for being nominated it is about popularity of roles and his Kaali?Raj act was accepted by some persons and Dilwale was popular online as at poll period. If others refuse to vote for their actors what can the awards do? SRK may be the most hated star but he is also the most loved star. Yes at the box office repeat viewing and content win, who cares if Aamir and Salman fans make themselves poor by watching Dhoom 3, Bodyguard, Ghajini, Dabangg and Dabangg 2, SRK fans are smart and watch other others as well as SRK while Salmir fans only watch Salman/Aamir films and Bajirao Mastani, Son of Sardaar and have no money at other film releases. HR and SRK are the best in terms of fan choices though SRK fans do not behave well on the net as is evidenced by voting for him even when he does not act.

And that’s where aamir khan rules the chart surpassing raj kapoor’s 3 ATHG record. Aamir has 4 ATHG ghajini, 3 idiots, dhoom 3 and pk while raj kapoor has 3 I.e. Aashiq, shree 420 and barsaat. Amitabh Bachchan and salman khan have only 1. So Aamir is clearly a winner in terms of ATHG and so he is untouchable. No one can come close to aamir. With dangal he will go much further.

There should’ve been categories for best costume design, best screen play, best cinematography, etc. this is SLB’s years, and he HAS TO win all the awards ( even Deepkia.. why would she win for Piku?!!!!!! her performance was good, can’t deny it, but wouldn’t be compared to her performance in BM!!! before releasing this film, I said that Bajrangi is the best film of 2015, but after watching BM, naah.. nothing would be compared with this great film.. simply we can say: BB is not a great film as it’s BM.. so the awards should go only to BM.
Why Salman being neglected for Best Actor category in every award ceremony?
