Both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, along with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali have now confirmed that their ambitious period drama, Bajirao Mastani, will release on December 18 2015. The film, which Bhansali had first envisioned as a Salman Khan – Aishwarya Rai starrer, also stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
Interestingly, the last time a Shahrukh Khan starrer clashed with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Deepika was making her debut in Om Shanti Om. 8 years later, Deepika has quickly climbed to the top of the ladder, and Shahrukh continues to be one of the biggest stars in the industry.
Firoz Nadiadwala, the producer of Hera Pheri 3, has also announced his comedy for Christmas. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in the lead.
We Brahmin people watch Bajirao Mastani because Bajirao Peshve he is Brahmin . In Maharashtra B M collection will be huge . I will watch BM first day first show .
BM is a risky project and clashing with a biggie is double risk, the film has bigger budget than Ram-Leela and ad to that the film is a period drama and these films hardly get a universal appeal just like JA, people will be waiting for Rohit-SRK’s next after CE and the film is expected to be bigger than CE, so to be honest if i was at the place of BM producers i wouldn’t release my movie a week before even a film like ABCD2 not an A-list star like SRK and that too in an out and out masala movie, any way the release date is still far away and nothing is confirmed yet and may be SBL is too confident with his film so lets see!

Suicidal. Two deepika movies within 2 weeks of each other is unnecessary. If Tamasha works which it will most likely, BM is going to get hit hard. Everyone’s choice on Christmas will be Dilwale unless they can’t get tickets but that is no way for BM to recover its high cost. SLB is proving once again that some people just don’t learn from their mistakes. It is different to be confident about your film as a director but as a producer, you have to be logical. Looks Bansali might just be happy to garner 100cr for BM which he can easily do (if not more) if he released his film at some other date.
Hera Pheri 3 definitely won’t release among this craziness.
