Both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, along with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali have now confirmed that their ambitious period drama, Bajirao Mastani, will release on December 18 2015. The film, which Bhansali had first envisioned as a Salman Khan – Aishwarya Rai starrer, also stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
Interestingly, the last time a Shahrukh Khan starrer clashed with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Deepika was making her debut in Om Shanti Om. 8 years later, Deepika has quickly climbed to the top of the ladder, and Shahrukh continues to be one of the biggest stars in the industry.
Firoz Nadiadwala, the producer of Hera Pheri 3, has also announced his comedy for Christmas. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in the lead.
I don’t think that SLB and Feroz Nadiadwala has made a wise descision. Lets see what will the the date for Dilwale 18th or 25th

When Christmas comes, they all will postpone their movies because this Christmas a tsunami is coming called Dilwale. the names of SRK and Kajol are enough.

All Bollywood actors and directors try their best to spoil king khan films.But every time king destroy thier films.No one release his film b4 one month or after one month Ama khan film.This is true clash with king and all other.but yet King khan films rule.No other actor afford this kind of hypothesy but king does not care.Coz he is Badshah of Bollywood since 22 years not only WD 2 or 3 films lol.
Bhansali is good director but when competing king he is zero as we know wt happened WD Sanwariya.
So bhasali plz release ur film at the same day BT I know u have not courage after getting previous experience lol.

I would like SLB to release bajirao mastani on 11th December..this will give it a clear 2 week run and after the release of dilwale it can still collect on decent number of screens depending on content

Baburao Mastani will get Below average opening , because everyone would be saving their money for the real ‘movie’ on Christmas …
This is a big news . You cannot call it a clash but it will be exciting . Hera Pheri 3 is not looking the same without Akshay but it is a franchise and nobody can deny its popularity . If the trailer is entertaining then Sham and Baburao will bring audiences to theatres . I did not like Ram Leela at all and that is the biggest reason i am not waiting for BM . As for Dilwale i know it stars SRK, Kajol and Varun and is directed by Rohit Shetty but his movies have been pretty below average . Bol Bachchan was the last movie of Shetty i liked . CE was bad and SR was pretty average and was nothing like Singham . So if Rohit can make a good entertaining movie then i will be happy and of course it will do good business . I don’t think anybody should be worried . HP 3 and BM are Non Holiday releases and Dilwale is a Holiday release . The next thing is BM and HP 3 will affect each other in the 1st week . If BM turns out to be a bad movie and people do not like HP 3 then people will watch Dilwale for sure . The reasons why CE became a ATG :
1. The collaboration of RS and SRK for the first time .
2. Eid Release .
3. SRK and Deepika for the 2nd time after OSO .
4. OUATIMD was a stupid movie and was a flop . So CE did not get affected in the 2nd week .
5. Madras Cafe was absolutely awesome and brilliant but it was not commercial and such movies don’t do well .
6. Satyagraha was a average movie and people did not wanted to watch any Ajay’s movie after Himmatwala .
So all these factors worked for CE . So i don’t think why Dilwale can’t be an ATG . The reality is Dilwale will severely dent HP 3 and BM in the 2nd week . But HP 3 i think will be a limited budget movie and i think can cover costs within 1st week . But on the other hand BM is looking like an expensive movie so it will be difficult to cover costs within 1st week . Let’s see what happens . Everything looking competitive .

Unfortunately in Brothers my young Lion King Sid too will have to somehow counter the overacting almost joker like nautanki acting of Gobar Akki but Im sure with 1 superman punch Sid can put that old dog to bed and carry Brothers beyond a mediocre 60cr figure which akki fans have become accustomed too…

So SLB is really willing to take on; Rohit Shetty (blockbuster director), SRK-Kajol (iconic pair), Varun Dhawan (very rapidly rising new star), Kriti Sanon (fresh face on the block) and that too in December where everybody will be looking for an entertainer and not a period film….SLB has lost it
@ bajirao ka thullu – this is slb’s dream project and earlier he want to cast salman aish in bajirao mastani last decade. Dilwale will face big problem of screen count if clash happen.
i hope he changes the date for bajirao and avoids clash with dilwale or i hope people refuse to watch it or ban it.
