Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo are the first and second highest grossers of 2015, respectively. Salman has become the ‘only’ actor since 2000 to take the Top 2 highest grossers of the year, twice.
The other actors who have managed to do so in the current century include; Shah Rukh Khan in 2004 (Veer Zaara and Main Hoon Naa), Hrithik Roshan in 2006 (Dhoom 2 and Krrish) and Salman himself in 2012 (Dabangg and Ek Tha Tiger). @indicine if u take collection from all versions then why u show opening day of prdp as 40.35cr which is hindi version only whereas total all versions is 41.7cr
Similarly the fig 212.3 cr is hindi version only u have not added regional collections to final total of prdp
Deserves to beat PRDP. But that does not looks possible unless week 3 turns out better than week 2.
Prdp was one worst films of 2015. If salman was not in that film it would have not even earned 25cr and may well have been second bombay velvet of 2015. Salman’s star power saved the film.
Also after bajrangi bhaijan, BM is the best commercial film of the year.
