Shooting of Salman Khan’s next release ‘Mental’ will finally resume next week. The second shooting schedule (after Dubai) came to a sudden halt last month after stunt artists from Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh abandoned the film mid-way through the Lavasa schedule.
There were reports in the media that the Khan brothers lost around 2 weeks of shooting and incurred losses in excess of Rs 20 crores.
Apparently, it was Salman who decided to cancel the contracts of Southern artists. As per the All India Film Employees Confederation, 70% of the fighters have to be local (Mumbai) and 30% from the region where the stunt coordinator is hired from. But once the shooting schedule in Lavasa (a private hill-city near Pune) was underway, the south fighters demanded 50% representation and 50% hike in pay as the fighters from Mumbai were being paid more.
Directed by Sohail Khan, Mental stars Salman, Tabu, Daisy Shah, Sana Khan and Ashmit Patel. The film is likely to release in theatres in January 2014.
After few days, News: Salman denies the rumours of resuming shooting for his upcoming film. Haha. XD

There is no slot available for this movie in next 1.5 yrs nd this man is not going to clash it with anyone.The cooking of biggest crap of 2014 “mental” is going on….meanwhile, there r rumors that khan brothers have a spat with stunt-men, junior artists…..they insisted that they ll pay only 1/3rd of wat others pay…..rest of money ll be given to various cinema halls to show maximum no. of audiences nd collections , so that it cud be declared another blockbuster……but as of now, stuntmen and junior artists r on strike nd making of centuries biggest crap is obstructed in between….let’s see, frm where khan arranges the remaining funds… may be, this time he ll make a contract wid sum other site like “yatra.com” to arrange more funds for “being human” nd then he ll pay all that black money to distributors…
