Salman Khan’s much talked about film directed by Kabir Khan has been reportedly titled ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Salman will be seen opposite Kareena Kapoor in the film.
There were rumours that Katrina Kaif may be seen opposite Salman in the film but the makers have decided to cast Kareena as lead female in the film. Salman and Kareena were last seen together in the 2011 blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’.
Confirming the news, director Kabir Khan said, “The film is unique for both Salman and me and has a larger-than-life background with a human story. It’s a very important story in today’s day and age and we are both very excited to start shooting it.”
The film will go on floors in November this year and will be shot across many parts of India. “While I have done three films with Katrina Kaif, I have always also admired Kareena and wanted to work with her. The film will be shot across many parts of India and we start shooting this November,” the director added.
According to sources, Salman will be seen playing the title role named Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the film. The film will be produced by Salman himself under his own company ‘Salman Khan Ventures’. It is slated to release during Eid 2015.

Most of the salman’s movies are releasing on festival and post IPL. Otherwise they would be like jai ho.
Kabir Khan is known to make good films on some serious topics like Newyork n Phantom…
But don’t know with Salman why he is interested in making the regular masala flick..

The title is itself Bhojpuri kind of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”
Now whats this…hardly multiplex audience will be attracted to such a title…

@Babaji ka thullu unfortunately this title is not bhojpuri and its shows the power and strength and suits Salman as he is powerful and strong physically and mentally.
don’t like the movie name,what happened with salman’s director,first prem ratan dhan payo,now bajrangi bhaijan total bhojpuri style name also two flop actress sonam kapoor and kareena kapoor.Ya allah save salman khan’s star power.He is in wrong hands.

Looks like this title is given to Salman’s movie keeping God Hanuman in mind as God Hanuman is known as bajrangbali and powerful god and in the same way Salman is powerful bollywood star in terms of body and box office.Jai bajrangbali and Jai bajrangi bhaijaan.
What’s wrong with Bhaijaan? He is selecting weird titles for his films. Even if ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is a good film, the younger section of the audience will stay away. Little or no appeal towards the youth.
Now Bajrangi Bhaijaan doesn’t sound like a Kabir Khan film. Kabul Express, New York, Ek Tha Tiger, Phantom.. all fantastic titles, but Bajrangi Bhaijaan??
I dont like people calling Salman bhojpuri.. but this does sound like a bhojpuri title.

Completely agree with babaji ka thullu. This raw action masala is not going to work in multiplex now. Salman already tested it with dabang 2 and jai ho. Dabang 2 did hardly 5-6 More than its prequel which released 3 years back and everybody know about jai ho. Kick can be work because of title and lavishness. But bajrangi bhaijan sounds like any bhojpuri title.
Oh no.Again salman and kabir together means another blockbuster but after this movie we want kabir to make its sequel titled Bajrangi King starring our king

I am a big Salman fan but still i also not liked title of the film.
But i believe in Kabir Khan & he is the best man to choose title.
May be this title is the core demand of story & hence Kabir decided it.
Same with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo…it also looked odd but after watching Salman’s look in the film & genre now it looking perfect.
Once first look & plot of film out i sure both these titles will look perfect.
And for those who think its Bhojpuri title…. Chill guys dont be frustated & start negativity…its way to release film first concentrate on Kick.Because the Kick storm is coming fast for tear Lungi’s.
And one more thing Bajarangi Bhaijan title is of Hindi movie & it will not turn it into Bhojpuri film just like a crap film in making by a mad director family will remain Hindi…just calling it Happy New Year will not make it Hollywood film.
and its sequel will be titled Bhojpuri Bhaijaan.. release date eid 2016.
