Salman denies allegations, says he didn’t poach blackbucks

A court in Jodhpur on Wednesday recorded Salman Khan’s statement in the Arms Act case, which was registered against him in 1998 in connection with poaching of blackbucks.

The superstar denied all allegations and said he wasn’t carrying illegal arms nor did he poach the endangered species.

“Salman, in his statement, has denied all the allegations and said he neither was carrying illegal arms nor did he poach blackbucks” his counsel Hastimal Saraswat told the media.

The next hearing date has been scheduled for March 10th 2014.

On October 2nd 1998, during a shooting scheduled of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, Salman was alleged to have killed two blackbucks, an animal protected under the Wildlife Protection Act. The incident allegedly took place on the outskirts of Kankani village near Jodhpur.

The superstar was also accused of carrying arms with expired license.

  • Salman looks very tired and miserable in the above pic………………..this means all the skeletons in his closet are coming out and haunting him and no amount of being human will help…………he shud accept his jail time and stop bribing judeges to prolong case…………just shows the bias in the courts.
