A court in Jodhpur on Wednesday recorded Salman Khan’s statement in the Arms Act case, which was registered against him in 1998 in connection with poaching of blackbucks.
The superstar denied all allegations and said he wasn’t carrying illegal arms nor did he poach the endangered species.

“Salman, in his statement, has denied all the allegations and said he neither was carrying illegal arms nor did he poach blackbucks” his counsel Hastimal Saraswat told the media.
The next hearing date has been scheduled for March 10th 2014.
On October 2nd 1998, during a shooting scheduled of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, Salman was alleged to have killed two blackbucks, an animal protected under the Wildlife Protection Act. The incident allegedly took place on the outskirts of Kankani village near Jodhpur.
The superstar was also accused of carrying arms with expired license.

The masala genre is strong in south but in north it is losing appeal now because of overdose of such films. But both films are holiday releases so should get some initial benefit. And if there is good emotional and family content then collections can be much more. Right now only entertainment for the masses can be expected……”

Now Jai Ho is struggling. And Salman fans were barking 200, 300 crores………… All such fans please apply cold water to the burned area and be prepared for the same when KICK comes. And stop making excuses for Jai Ho’s average performance by saying ticket prices were low, the tickets are only slightly less than CE and D3. You say Jai Ho is a good film (I agree) but when Bodyguard, Ready etc. released were you not saying box office collections only speak the truth? @X: Jai Ho was not a big movie like many people think. Even as a Salman fan my prediction was 140-145 crores due to poor promos and songs plus lack of any other feature except Salman that attract audience to the theater. (Still Jai Ho should cross 120 crores and remember Salman will be the first to have 6 movies consecutively cross 120 crores when noother actor has even 3 movies doing so.)
I can 100% guarantee your prediction for Kick will be wrong. It is a big movie with high budget and will release in Kick. Plus it is a very entertaining movie. In worst case it will do 175+ crores.
I don’t know what is the truth.he is guilty or not. But no one in the world who did crime and accepting those in courts until he came to know that all door is closed to prove him innocent.so we can’t trust Salman comments until the court given verdict.but i am extremely happy the way Salman changed his life in last 10 years.the way he running his being human foundation. I know no one can give life to those blackbucks who dead or the person who died due to rash driving of Salman,but Salman had given life to many people by his charity and his foundation. So in the court of God he somehow managed to compensate his curse. Lets see what justice given by the court of India. When it makes less profits or loss contrary to your earlier expectations, you have to analyses what’s gone so wrong and to know the factors that affect your business in loss. If you don’t do, you should be considered a nut businessman. Similarly, you have to consider the factors that went against the business of Jai Ho. Don’t you think Saifai Mahotsav case, his Statement regarding Modi and turning all media (that favor sensationalism over journalism) against him affect the business of Jai Ho? Think again, Mr. X!

Those ‘facts’ you gave to explain Jai Ho’s poor showing are not going to compensate the distributors for the money they will lose.
