Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama film ‘Kabali’ will hit theatres on July 1st 2016, which falls in the Pre-Eid period.
The decision to release the film before Eid was taken to avoid any clash against Salman Khan’s keenly-awaited film Sultan, which releases in theatres on July 6.
“The film was earlier slated to release in June. It has been now pushed to July 1. The makers had also planned to release on July 7 but have advanced the release to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’” a source confirmed.
Directed by Pa. Ranjith, ‘Kabali’ is the story of the rise of a gangster from rags-to-riches. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Dhansikaa and Ritwika.

All the morons calling Sultan crapp and blah blah, should not forget that your 80cr club’s king Eid sodke bhag gaya after hearing about this crapp. Just imagine if the movie would have been a good one then bhagoda toh abtak kudhkhushi kar leta…hahaha.
@Aisha whatever you said about remake artist is only because of eid, soutg remakes, masala genre and so on. In last decade he was nothing and his existence was just null. He is nothing in front of Biggest real Box Office Phenomenon and Boss of the Industry AAMR KHAN THE PERFECTIONIST.

Well About Salman what can be said? Who had ever imagined that a guy who was never even a star and was the biggest supper flopstar in last 2 decades and gave countless flops and disasters and was written off by media, never known for acting and always was in news for wrong reasons would gone on to be Biggest Megastar and even other superstars would run away from him? Really incredible achieved stardom…!!!
A load of bull, both pictures should have opened for EID, for Sultan is no more than a solo star, movie. The public could not appreciate FAN, but we thought that it was an excellent show. It is still showing in Trinidad ,after five weeks. The only flaw, I thought, was SRK not saying sorry to the FAN, before he fell, and this impacted on his following. He was reflecting the attitude of many major stars, for one must remember that he was not involved in any HIT and RUN accident, nor hunting protective species.
It is a big mistake not playing RAEES over the EID holiday as his film was finished first, and it remains to be seen which of the TWO films is the better one. If it is not too late, I would still recommend that they show RAEES at EID, or immediately after it. Come on SRK throw down the gauntlet, if you could persuade your backers to do so, because this is not your style..OH SHANTI OM.

I had commented to @Challa on more than one occasion about his accusations and making statements about Salman killing of innocent people and calling him a criminal because the day will come when he will be judged in the exact same manner and even worse but he does not heed the warning he thinks he is getting away with but he never will, to God one day is as a thousand and for sure all those who judge others because of their sins etc God too will expose them. So fear not Salman fans @Challa, @Fasal Kerala and @Xzone the top most haters are about to have God’s wrath poured out. Its sad that these three sees the sins of others but fail to see the sins of themselves and their families, anyone who thinks themselves perfect is soon made to realize that they are not. If we go by their logic then we must believe raeesa will be an another Disaster like dholakia’s previous movie Lamha, will collect less than 5cr as it’s director Rahul dholakia has never given a 5cr grosser….hahaha..
