Ritesh Sidhwani has hinted that the much-hyped clash between Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Salman Khan’s Sultan, could be averted. The producer said that Excel Entertainment will have a discussion with Yash Raj Films after the shooting schedule of both films are complete.
“Once both the films are done, we will sit and talk. Several films are announced but then they are moved too” Sidhwani told reporters.
Ritesh added that it’s a wait and watch game as of now, since ‘Sultan’ is yet to go on floors. He also said there is no ‘special intention’ to have a clash.
“Eid is next year and our film just has 20 days of shooting left. We’re working so that the film comes on Eid, because it is that kind of a film. Even they (Sultan) will also try for a similar plan but first let the shooting of their film begin and then we’ll see. There is no specific intention to have a clash.” he added.

Dangal will become highest grosser of the year or not is depend solely on Aamir stardom and how the movie shaped. If it had universal theme than no doubt it will ended being an all time grosser as well. Actually problem is that Salman fans had BB release few days back so they have anything to celebrate.Here for Srk fans ,we dont have a release for 4,5 months so nothing to do something special so asking questions about clashes etc.The wait of srk movie is killing me now.But dec-july will be golden time for us 3 movies of KING.Maza a jae ga.

I reckon Excel planning was release the first look and teaser of Raees near Eid to start building buzz for next Eid release. No doubt Raees managed to get some initial buzz. They also thought Raees buzz will kill BB’s business hence making Raees and Srk’s (Excel) case more strong to release it on Eid 2016 unfortunately, no Raees, No wheat, No Appam, No Ghulam affected BB and it has created history. Last thing, the way Salman is reigning this year no one will dare to clash with his movies (be it Eid or not) if Sultan managed to complete the shoot within April 2016 !!!!
