Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has done very well at the box office in its first weekend, beating the collections of Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil on all 5 days at the ticket window.
Like so many clashes in the past, SRK has comprehensively won this one too. His only big loss so far in his career was ‘Bajirao Mastani’ surpassing the lifetime business of ‘Dilwale’, but even there his film managed to outperform the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film in the first weekend, did very well overseas and went on to collect almost 150 crore at the domestic box office.
It remains to be seen where Raees goes from here. The drop on Monday morning – on an average - is around 40-45% from Friday. But the percentage of drop varies across different parts of the country, with some centres showing bigger than expected drops, while others holding on pretty well.
The next four days starting from today, will also be important for Raees because that will decide the screen-sharing with Kaabil this coming weekend at multiplexes.

wow superb now it has taken a good lead and today it will collect 8 crore more it has crushed kaabil so badly kaabil today will collect 5 crore and will be a mega disaster raees will take 40 crore lead over kaabil after this week now its a lesson that now one should clash with srk in future after disaster result of kaabil it has proved srk is the biggest megastar in bollywood.

raees is great movie i have ever seen..but kabil is same old formula of bollywood hero heroin love story heroin died hero will take revenge ..nothing new ..hritik is only saving grace of kabil……but raees has outstanding performace of srk and nawaj and other actors with good story line and its look realistic ……1st weekend collection shows that srk is biggest star than hrithik …now lifelime collection depends on taste of public …but without eid diwali chrismas only srk can give tremendous start of film…..happy for both srk and hrithik. eid release of raees could be 300 cr for sure .

Honestly as a SRK fan i am rating it an average film .its strictly one time watch film the film has no goosebumps and any command on twist .The film don’t see edgy like other gangster film the angles of Babri riot and 93 bombing are really funny .and any thing happens with raees in any time any one turns friend then enemy .Climax has no sense .
I am wondering why star like srk choosing such crap stories it doesn’t have anything if this film release during Dabang rowdey rathore (2010 to 2012) it might turns a massive blockbuster but at that time srk on focusing on classic like Don2 and JTHj .Now he belongs to massy film . As a Srk fan i am really Disappointed he has too much talent .He nailed in Raees but the story is repeat repeat saga as we seen in OUTIM .And its ditto copy of Vaastav of Sanjay dutt .He doesn’t have any chance in 2017 to comeback The Ring also 150cr film .Anand L rai film might works for 300cr entry for him .
