Some updates on Shahrukh Khan’s Ra One.
- It’s now less than a month to go for Ra One’s release. You all know the date – October 26th 2011.
- Ra One game for Playstation Portable (PSP), Playstation 3 (PS3) and Playstation 2 (PS2) is likely to release in the first or second week of October.
- The music is a hit and is selling well all over. Chammak Challo is by far the most popular song in the album, Akon has received immense praise for the way he has sung the song. Dildaara is the second most liked song in the album.
- There was news that Rajnikanth has agreed to be a part of the film. But sources say, it might not happen as the release is less than a month away and Rajni still hasn’t allotted dates for the shoot.
- Shahrukh Khan has been all over the place promoting Ra One and giving interviews to journalists. He has said in one his interviews that, he hasn’t slept well in quite sometime now!
- SRK has also tied up with YouTube and together they have come up with a special Youtube Page and its great! Click here to view
- The look of Arjun Rampal’s Ra One character will not be revealed until the release. SRK has said he’s scared of the expectations that people have from Arjun’s title role.
- Sharing one of the incidents on the sets. SRK said – after one action sequence was shot, he was made to hang on a rope for far too long. He was tired and wanted to go to the bathroom, but when he looked down, the entire Ra One team was disorganized. When he was eventually released, in anger he threw a chair to the wall. His intention wasn’t to hurt anyone, but he was just angry!
- Offtopic: talking to the media today, SRK also said he hasn’t signed Rohit Shetty’s next. The only film he has confirmed so far is Yash Chopra’s next with Katrina and Anushka.

2011 is turning out to be one of the biggest years at the domestic boxoffice in recent times. If we look at the domestic gross collections of the 30 biggest grossers then the collections in 2011 are already similar to 2010 and there is still three months to go in the year.
Not only that, the next three months is also the heavy big release compared to the previous quarters. It is not out of the question that by the end of the year we may be looking at a 50% increase in collections from 2010 as biggies like Ra.One, Rockstar and Don 2 are still to come

120Cr week 1 (India)..40Cr Satellite Rights..15Cr Music ..I think some people are so stupid or so much blinded by Srk’s ass that they don’t understand to recover money Ra1 must do a Distribution share of 120 cr which means at least 210cr net business. Now Ra1’s total net might not reach 120cr leave aside the distribution share. Now if some how a miracle happens and Ra1 does 120 cr distribution share it will still be considered a theatrical flop movie because u do not add sat rights and music rights in the total box office to consider a movie hit or flop and RA1 has 175 cr budget. Now these stupid illiterate Srk fans are not going to understand this. They saw the previews with some mediocre VFX and they think this movie has better VFX than Avatar..LMAO..Avatar was made at a budget of $500 millions. I remember a Srk fan said Avatar has less VFX than Ra1..who r u kidding with dude…even if Ra1 has 50, 000 VFX still it can not even achieve 1 % of avatar, and i am sure those 3000 VFx RA1 has, 2990 have been used on SRK’s face to make it look a little better. Look at SRK’s face in all the promotion videos or images and then compare it with the SRK’s face on the RA1 poster and u will know what I am talking about…this show how arrogant(some mainly on this site) Srk fans are just like their hero.
