Ra One is the biggest release of the year. The stakes are high – with Shahrukh Khan leaving no stone unturned in making his debut as a superhero, the most hyped and celebrated release of the year. The film has generated tremendous curiosity, thanks mainly to its enormous budget and millions were spent in making the music release, the mega event that it was.

The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha, whose biggest claim to fame before Ra One, was the action-thriller Dus. Apart from SRK, the film also has Kareena Kapoor, the biggest female star in the industry and Arjun Rampal, who plays the title role. Arjun’s look has, quite cleverly, not been revealed yet and this has further increased the suspense and curiosity.

All said and done, Ra One has everything going for it – right from the biggest of names in the industry, to its scale and grandeur. Will the film live up to expectations? 26th October is ‘the’ day, when the movie and the verdict will be out.
