For those curious to know the release date of the Ra One DVD, here is some news.
Reliable sources say, the film is expected to be released on DVD before the release of Don 2. It’s most likely to hit stores in the second or third week of December.

Starring Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, Ra One – directed by Anubhav Sinha – is third biggest grosser of 2011 (so far) after Bodyguard and Ready.
How many of you are buying the Ra One DVD? Or will you be waiting for the Bluray? The fact that the film has lots of special effects, Ra One on Bluray would probably make more sense. That is, if you have a Bluray player or PS3 at home.

PS3 is Playstation 3.. It’s a gaming console by Sony and comes with a Bluray player.. So non-gamers use it as a Home Entertainment player too :)

Harman, Rockstar and Desi Boyz have just released.. So don’t expect it anytime in the next 2 weeks. Should be available late December or early January.. Mausam, Rascals are available on DVD :)

to KGGN. The bluray has a lot better quality and no, dvd player can’t play bluray disc, bluray player can play dvd disc though. Bluray discs are a bit more expencive than DVDs.
I’m waiting for the 3D bluray version to come out… As it’s produced in 3D I’m pretty sure they’ll release it on 3D bluray as well…

Yes ur right in a way ( most people on the internet are looking forward to DVD-rip or Blu-ray rip). i would suggest this is the best time to push new encryption where people find it hard to rip.
Srk has invested enough money on this Project Ra-One , he should be concentrating on get rid of piracy and stand still as an example to rest of indian film industry.

We ordered the DVD from Amazon since we aren’t from India. Just the plain one. I am so excited about it. Watched the movie in theater 2 times. And I want to watch it more. By the way, it is ranking right now as the 13th best seller under foreign films on Amazon.
I bought the DVD of Ra.One from flipkart.com, and it’s a superb movie. It’s a 2 DVD pack with making of the movie and deleted scenes in 1 DVD and the movie in another.
Looking forward to Don 2 DVD release.
Hi I am from UK and still cannot see when RA.ONE is going to be released on DVD or Blu-Ray. I would prefer Blu-Ray as I have a PS3, but it is showing on Star Gold on 21st Jan so I’m going to watch it again then!
Ra.One was good. It was a 2 DVD pack, with the making of the movie in 1 DVD. I bought it from flipkart.com
