Tusshar Kapoor in Shootout At Wadala

After trying hard to establish his career in acting, Tusshar Kapoor finally nailed it in the Golmaal series, where he quite brilliantly played the character of a mute guy. His comic timing was noteworthy in all the three Golmaal films.

No longer viable in solo-films, Tusshar wisely gave it up at the right time and decided to be a part of films with ensemble cast. Before that, the actor gained appreciation as Dilip Bua, a gangster in Shootout At Lokhandwala.

Yet again, Tusshar has been offered a role similar role in Sanjay Gupta’s next titled Shootout At Wadala. The actor will play the character of Sheikh Munir, the right-hand of Manya Surve, whose role will be depicted on-screen by John Abraham. Anil Kapoor steps into the shoes of police officer Issac Bagwan.

Apparently, Sheikh Munir was shot dead in 1983, close to Sanjay’s house in Versova. Sources say, pictures of the gangster have been referred to design Tusshar’s look in the movie.

Shootout At Wadala will throw light on what is considered as Mumbai’s first encounter killing where Issac Bagwan shot Manya Surve and his accomplices.
