Ra One has collected 15.5 crores in Week 2 taking it’s all-India collections to about 113 crores in 2 weeks (including the 5 day extended weekend).
With the release of Rockstar, Ra One most certainly won’t cross the lifetime collections of Ready. Although the Ghajini record (116 crores) will be crossed in it’s third weekend.

While disappointing, Ra One has done enough in 2 weeks to earn HIT status. With the help of overseas collections and various rights (satellite, music etc), the film has recovered it’s investment.

ra.one india total all regions would be = 120 crores
while overseas final nett would be 50 – 55 cr max… so total = 170 cr ……
and come 2 pune .. in pune theres a world class mental hospital called YERAWADA MENTAL HOSPITAL !!!! and ha ra.one is average grosser as not all distributors are getting profit…

this is the first time I have seen BOI has declared a movie hit even if the movies have not reached it’s production budget. those who are saying RA.ONE is a hit please answer me one qn. if ra.one is a hit they why not TEES MAAR KHAN is a hit. it was the most anticipated movie of 2010 it took a huge opening as well,recovered the cost in the 1st weekend and then fell very badly with making arround 30-40 crore profit worldwide. exactly the same thing happened to RA.ONE also took a good start in weekend and then the audience rejected the movie completely. dont think that ra.one has collected more than 100 cr means it is a hit. it was released in 3500 prints which is apprx 1000 higher than BODYGUARD with high ticket pricing ue to 3D version..so the collection will be definitely higher. but before declaring ra.one a hit think of it’s production budget.

And whatever was theatrical business of ra.one it was profit..

Ra One is just awesome here in overseas, it is just a very unique movie. kids love it something very new from a Bollywood film industry. Please don’t compare with bodyguard there was no story it was just so boring to watch.
isnt it good for Bollywood to produce something different which they have done like Ra One.

@ wizpoka box office numbers doesn’t matter, to be a king one has to be consistent, it’s not only in films, other field also like sports, politics etc and the whole world knows that srk has been consistent from the past 20 years so s**k on that.
