Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is looking at another solid day at the box office as the film is likely to collect a little less than 30 crore on Saturday. The Salman Khan starrer dropped in the morning, but business has picked up quite significantly evening onwards.
As of 8:30PM on Saturday, the advance booking for the night shows at multiplexes is good and families have come out in big numbers to watch the film.
The 3-day business is likely to come in the 100 crore plus range, for the Hindi version only, which would be fantastic since it only had one major holiday in its first 3 days at the box office. The film would then be targeting 4-day weekend business of 135 crore plus.
On social media, the response to PRDP has been mixed, but such films do hold tremendous appeal at smaller centres. Barjatya’s last film Vivah was rejected by the critics, it didn’t do well in metro cities either, but was a record grosser in a circuit like Bihar.
Fantastic collection but what about tamil and telugu version collection(friday & saturday) plz release the collection of both the days.
Worst movie of the millenium. Even worse than RS.one and himmatwala. Salman and suraj should be thrown out from Bollywood. Salman’s stardom is overrated. He is just record chaser, and some fools say he is most loved actor. LOL. Them why his so called great movie BB failed to break PK’s record? Why PRDP failed to break HNY’s opening record. Mind it, Sr and aamir are much bigger stars than Salman. Salman is only giving hits since 2010 while srk is ruling since 1992 the year he made debut. Dilwale will shatter this crap Neil nitin mukesh bachao records within 10 days despite clash and will break kick’s life time record as well.

Salman fans were expecting 300-400 crores but now hoping for 200cr and to beat Hny but unfortunately even failed to beat hny as well till now be it in India, Overseas or W-W shamelessly.

as i said before For Salman fans a SH-BB film (like Hny) in India, Blockbuster in Overseas is a flop so now PRDP has to be All time blockbuster in India & all time blockbuster in overseas then it can be considered as a successful film otherwise by going thro their logic, PRDP will be/is a disaster.

135 cr are on the cards. Monday collections will decide the film’s fate. anything between 16-20 cr will be excellent as wom is positive from family audience and mixed from younger audience. Anything less than that would surely means 200-220, exactly what i have said means 250 cr and above that 270-280cr. Also critics and youngster have not always been supportive of family dramas which is not a good thing. They call it boring, dude these films represent our culture and traditions. hahk was a family drama. it became the highest grosser of all time. These films have their own charm so better respect them. If you dont want to watch them so better avoid but dont spread negative things about the film yar.

The movie is going to fall flat from monday..this collection is coming as people are in festive mood and have already booked tickets..but an extra holiday is definitely going to help it.so it will cross hny and the remaining collections will be same..and definitely indicine how are u saying no holidays..its diwali and kids are enjoying vacations and the labours too…and today even the people who work in it firms had off..and the most important thing is corporate booking which was done b4 the release..this is the difference of a holiday release and the impact had prdp releasrd on republic day weekend like jai ho..it would have gone jai ho way..
