PK has grossed Rs 676 crore worldwide and should eventually become the first Indian film to gross Rs 700 crore worldwide. The film has collected more than $7 million (record) in China in just 5 days since its release.
The Rajkumar Hirani blockbuster also collected a record-breaking Rs 340.9 crore in the domestic market and went on to do business in excess of Rs 200 crore overseas.

For those morons who say aamir has less fans I just laugh at them. Aamir’s stardom is untouchable. He is biggest star with biggest fan following. Srk, hrithik and akshay are like ants in front of aamir. Only competitor aamir has is Salman. But still BO proves that at this point of time aamir is ahead of Salman too. As PK and dhoom 3 both are top 2 highest grossers in India and overseas. While jaadoo boy cant give a hit without his papa. Srk is looking old and not at all like a here. Here we have complete foreigners who is taking a liking to an Indian movie.
Unlike the NRIs who watches movies in UK and US, here it is an international audience we are talking about.
This is called real Global Reach.
Indians are spread around the world in top cities like London and New York and hence most of the Indian movies do good because of these NRIs.
While in countries like China or Korea etc,. the situation is exactly the opposite.
Now we can proudly say we have an Indian Star that has international following.
