PK Saturday (Day 2) Collections: Early Estimate

PKPK has shown decent growth in business on Saturday. Even circuits that took an average opening yesterday, have picked up by around 10%.

The morning shows were down, at some centres the drop was higher at around 20-30%, which was normal for Saturday morning. Evening onwards multiplex business picked up all over. At metros, most plexes were packed to capacity on Saturday.

The film has collected Rs 1.58 crore in Rajasthan circuit on Day 2, up by around 16% from Friday.

The Aamir Khan starrer is likely to collect around 28-29 crore on its second day at the box office, as per estimates based on collections from a few centres.

Sunday will be huge for the film, as corporate and advance booking of shows is terrific. It will be interesting to see if PK can touch the 35 crore, as the potential is definitely there and the word-of-mouth is very good too.

PK Box Office Collections (2 days)

  • Friday – 26.63 crore
  • Saturday – 29 crore
  • 2 day collections – 55.63 crore

Note: The Saturday collections are early estimates only. Final collections will be published in a few hours.

  • The bomb blast scene though forced, it made an impact. It took a dig at all the religions who blame Muslims for terrorism.

Just as 3I had the unnecessary suicide by Sharman after that drunken night, PK had bomb blast for shock factor. But still the execution was convoluted in both the cases.

  • At least I know that by 31st December, shahrukh khan’s Sad year will be relegated to No. 3. It will be Aamir and Salman for the top spot

  • , unfortunately Aamir has an agenda which started with satyamev jayate.Him deriding the rituals without understanding the deep philosophy behind them is like a street person with no literacy questionig IOS architecture, the vedantist phelosophy is beyond the likes of prejudiced perverts like him who would chicken out at a mere thought of creating a cartoon of his revered one, liberalisim is not a one way street !, moreover it also goes against the famous bible saying..to each his own..
