PK has shown decent growth in business on Saturday. Even circuits that took an average opening yesterday, have picked up by around 10%.
The morning shows were down, at some centres the drop was higher at around 20-30%, which was normal for Saturday morning. Evening onwards multiplex business picked up all over. At metros, most plexes were packed to capacity on Saturday.
The film has collected Rs 1.58 crore in Rajasthan circuit on Day 2, up by around 16% from Friday.
The Aamir Khan starrer is likely to collect around 28-29 crore on its second day at the box office, as per estimates based on collections from a few centres.
Sunday will be huge for the film, as corporate and advance booking of shows is terrific. It will be interesting to see if PK can touch the 35 crore, as the potential is definitely there and the word-of-mouth is very good too.

I admit the first half is very entertaining but second half is avoidable. Bomb blast scene is unnecessary and the climax is not hard hitting as that in OMG ..In last scene Amir(alien) should return to his spaceship naked.

if WOM is very good then Saturday should be 34-36 at least .HNY on Saturday collection of 31 cr Pk has WOM bad than HNY its clear even PK has 30% hike rates means Acc to that HNY is 36cr nearly . I hope this will collect 200 cr at the speed of Turtle not like rabbit speed as kick did
I am Hirthik’s fan but I must say that PK is the best film ever made in India!! Amir Khan will forever be remembered for this movie!! now I have become a fan of Amir too!! well done Amir!! hope this movie will break record of Dhoom 3
For those who did not like PK, I can clearly understand that it hurt their religion. Otherwise, they could not say that PK is a bad film. They won’t accept that they hated PK for anti religion things but they will try to back up their logic in different manner!!

i watched pk last evening.in a sentence pk is much much better than contemporary crappy blockbuster movies but at the same time it is also miles behind the hirani sir’s previous three films.
OMG is the film where these things are explained in better way than explained in PK .
also these things Hindus know from past but if they not be live this the religion will be finished .Aamir dosent show anything against Muslims .
And lastly it shown in the movies which already told by Asaram,ramapal , nityannand etc . for their business .

When the most highly anticipated movie of the year gets the most positive word-of-mouth, records should be shattered. All lifetime records should be threatened, be it Kick or Dhoom 3.

PK is not as brilliant as OMG! , PK is a good film, but not classic. Still I think my most favourite director will bounce back with RK as Sanjay Datt.

Salman only remakes from south by telling his fans but aamir remaked from Bollywood without telling, in facts by telling that movie is complectly different – OMG.
seems that PK should be able to cross 90 cr for the weekend and 150 cr in first week…..not to forget major holidays start from the end of first week…..
thus it seems that PK should be able to cross 200 cr…..only question remaining is how big a grosser would it turn out to be…..
@arjun kapoor fan,the things you mentioned is absolutely correct rather than just a joke.it’s a cheating from raju-amir to peoples in the name of quality.I have seen the movie ,it’s nothing a big crap ,the same thing that repeated in OMG,but the difference is only that the coming background of paresh rawal and amir khan is different,that’s all.along with that the acting especially amir is highly overrated and unbearable as well irritating however I somehow managed to see climax due to the name hirani.they cheated,they hiked ticket price,,people should boycott this cheapest unofficial remake,just nothing a big crap.
also if you like amir that willn’t change the fact/situation,stop your hypocrisy,it’s a disgusting film I have ever seen.stop over prising a below mediocre film rather I would like to call this a big shit!!!!

Will give my full review! For me, PK is as good as 3 idiots, but nowhere near the terrific Munna Bhai films.

Sushant singh behavior cannot be digesting easily when he leave Anushka berserk, his innocence in first frame impact full than his strange behavior (total filmy) and wrapped up so quickly.
Raju Hirani more concern on Pk character (Amir khan the super star) rather than tightening the plot in second half.
The introduction scene of Amir khan (nude no need) so tacky like B grade movie.
Pk transforms language from prostitute is this really necessary!!!! Prostitute..oh common…
Second half directed by someone else rather than Raju hirani.
Lastly, Raju and Amir try to preaching us god and godmen relationship but he himself pick up his lucky mascot (superstitious) characterisation from Munna bhai to 3 Idiots to make sure the Movie going to hit.
Totally disappointed by Hirani and Amir waste of time and money. My rating is 2 star.
