PK continued its dream run at the box office with huge growth in business on Day 16. The film is set to cross the 10 crore mark yet again today, which will also take the Aamir Khan starrer above the 300 crore mark.
Aamir has now become the founder / creator of the 100 crore, 150 crore, 200 crore, 250 crore and 300 crore clubs. Looking at the historic business of PK, it could possibly cross the 350 crore mark by the end of its glorious run.
The film will also finish with distributors share of 165 - 170 crore, which is more than the lifetime net collections of several big films!

Dilip Saab – Sir Don Bradman/Pele. the very first legend of Indian Cinema just like Bradman and Pele in their respective fields.
Big B – Sunil Gavaskar/Maradona. ruled the Indian cinema for a massive period, & people thought that his era will remain unmatched for years to come just like Gavaskar (was a historical feat when he became the first batsman to reach 10,000 runs in Test cricket)/Mardona.
SRK – Sachin Tendulkar/Lionel Messi. Numero Uno is the word for him, SRK has been loved like no other actor has been in the history of Cinema, he is beyond box office numbers just like Sachin/Messi, there was a time when he had almost no competitor for him untill 2008/09 when Aamir/Salman’s movies all of a sudden started challenging his movies and on many occassions, even pipped box office numbers of his movies, but as said his aura is beyond these numbers as he has nothing more left to be prove.
Salman Khan – Ricky Ponting/Cristiano Ronaldo. Aggresive, Fierce, Outspoken, Ferocious and in the face, loved by the masses and their loyal fan bases. Salman with his masala genre, Ponting with his captaincy and Ronaldo with his penalties have never disappointed ;)

I watched pk third time, today in single screens afternoon show.The cinema where I watched the film is kind of hall where movies like Dabangg,wanted,singham etc perform in weekdays but content oriented film not.Guess what on its 3rd Sunday the cinema was 80% full.I never thought in my dreams that a movie like pk can even got 80%on its first Sunday on single screens.
I simply loved pk after repeat watching.The best thing about single screens cinema that you get to know that audience are attached with film or not.The crowd were shouting,clapping consistently. The dialogue of pk at the climax to tapasvi “Kaun Hindu,Kaun Musalman.Thappa Kaha hai.”
Browny points to makers of pk who hasn’t compromised what they want to deliver,they waited for 5 years and reliever masterpiece again.I recommend guys who got slightly disappointed with pk in first watch,give a next try whenever you got time. Its gonna rule in coming days too.
When kick released,Indicine published an article that why they feel kick would be first 300cr grosser.
When hny first day collection came,they said its third day collection will be 40cr+.
Both didn’t happen.
When they reviewed the film which was definitely spot on while watching first time that film is good but not extraordinary. It won’t have repeat value which will affect its long run on box office.When first day collection cane if pk,they written that its looking d3 is out of reach for pk,even kick will remain highest grosser of the year.

Raju hirani has been trolling trade analysts since 2003. From MBBS (A predictable flop according to trade) to PK (Difficult to cross Kick according to Indicine) he has time and again proven why he is the best commercial director.
@sky I don’t think rdb won best film award.it was won by lage raho munnabhai.and coming to bo verdicts I hv taken them from articles published by leading media houses in last 2 decades.
