Here it is! The trailer of Shoojit Sircar’s Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. The trailer was first premiered across all Sony Network channels at 9PM Indian Standard Time and then released on the internet.
Quick Review: Piku has been directed by Shoojit Sircar, who has previously directed films like Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe. The film is about a father’s relationship with his daughter and also his constant battle with constipation.
With actors like Big B, Deepika and Irrfan, the film promises to raise the bar as far as acting is concerned. Deepika’s chemistry with both Irrfan and Amitabh will be something to watch out for. The trailer is sweet, quirky, heart-warming and has that ‘slice of life’ feel to it. It makes the necessary impact, which the first trailer of any film should! We quite like the background music and dialogues too.

Okay! Here comes my review for Piku trailer:
When we hear a movie name like “PIKU”, it will directly make a sweet image in your mind thanks to the cuteness of the title. You will expect the film to be Sweet! And Yes, from the Trailer, we can feel Piku will be sweet film!
I got a smile on my face right from the first scene of the trailer (the scene inside the car). Then another interesting scene came when Piku’s Dad calls her. I found The trailer Engaging from the starting to the End! The chemistry among the three leads look Lovely. Shoojit Sircar’s both films, Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe worked mainly due to the writing and Performances. Here also the script looks fresh. The BGM sounds perfect. Cinematography is another impressive part here!
Over all, I found the Traile very Sweet, Moody and promising. All the characters are looking lovely!

Cinematography is top notch,editing is perfect,amitji n deepika seems to have delivered a memorable performance.and it is too emotional also. I loved it.i will watch it whole night and cry now.

Just watched Piku trailer !!..
Here comes my review–
piku name suggested it was a sequel to Pk .. But when i watched the first 2 seconds of the trailer, i realised it wasn’t.. I was shell-shocked.. Coz the trailer was original !! .. Unlike unoriginal Roshan films..
Deepika, amitabh, irrfan are simply classy.. As i completed 30 seconds of trailer, i realised it is more classy…! Tears of joy ran out of my eyes.. Then after 1 minutes.. More and more tears n drops of water dropped out of my eyes.. Meanwhile i realised Direction was top notch..
Suddenly after 2 minutes..tears increased n then i realised i was crying..
After the trailer ended.. I realised shoojit has done fantastic job.. I couldn’t control myself n my crying.. My mobile screen became wet .. Water from my eyes entered mobile battery n my costly smartphone is damaged now..
So i am angry now.. So i give it generous 1/5 star…

Shoojit rocks! This man is a genius! Picks up bizzare topics. Sperm donation, Constipation and weaves around such heartwarming stories! This film will be a notch higher than Vocky Donor, because of the powerful cast! Absolutely loved this trailer!

I found the trailer boring n too similar to a finding fanny type movie- gonna flop for sure as only the Lootera type self claiming classy audience will find it remotely scintilating.
