Actor Ajay Devgn has said he likes the progress the industry has made in the last two decades since his debut. He said the industry as a whole has become more professional and actors are more serious about their films.
“It’s (industry) really changed. We have started taking our work very seriously and in 90’s we all were doing.. We weren’t allowed shoot for more than 11 films.. There were no promotions, no vanity vans.. Everything has gradually changed. It’s become more professional… ”
However, the actor added that every change has been for the betterment of the industry, except one.
“I think everything has changed for the good except for one thing… I think there was more warmth. Everybody liked everybody. There were no problems and no issues… I miss that warmth. That’s the major change, which I see today” he added.
‘Shivaay’ his second directorial venture after ‘U Me Aur Hum’ in 2008, releases in theatres on Friday.

Ajay Devgan is one of the cheapest actors in the Industry i never expected him to go down so low in promoting his film and Kajol i agree that she has to be honest with her husband and back him but she should not simultaneously forget that the biggest career hits were given by KJO & ADITYA if not she was a nobody and would have been a nobody who knows and cares about AD

Many were commenting against Ajay well all I can say he is very honest.. There never was is or will be warmth in Indian cinema.. There was always a insecurity jealousy in Bollywood.. Draculla, you allow his movie for a solo release in diwali else he will complain about no warmth being there in the film industry. why industry will loose a festive weekend by allowing your crap movie a solo release. I am hundred percent sure Shivay will be crap and he knows it. Omg such a hatred for a legend like ajay devgan who at the height of stardom never sigh to do second lead, heroin oriented movies and 2 hero movies, multistarrer and we r considering him now n insecure person. I suggest people to watch him in company, nazayaz, zakhm, bhagat singh, khakee, rain coat, drishyam, pyar to hona hi tha, hum dil de chuke sanam, deewangi, om kara & many more he is a class apart & sean penn of hindi cinema. I dont know him personally but i need not as far as i know hindi movie industry there is not many screens sufficient for two movies to coexist hence these cheap tricks r bound to happen so no issues. But devgan is aware of monopoly that is prevailing in the industry and also he has tried out to give us some fantastic movie inform of shivaay instead of same old school rom com like adhm whats wrong in it. Why we r trying to make him fail big time he is just doing his job. As n actor as a director it seems he is commited to up scale the height of hindi movies to the next level is not that great for all of us. We should encourage him we should not discourage him for this. Finally we r not here to decide who is right and who is wrong we r here to see which movie is the best and our job is to help let the best movie win.
