Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera likely to be arrested after assault at pub

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Shera, who made a special appearance in the actor’s 2011 film ‘Bodyguard’, has been booked for assault after a verbal argument in a pub in Vile Parle late on Tuesday night.

News channel reports suggest, a case under sections 323, 325, 725/16, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the DN Nagar police station in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb.

According to the complaint, the incident took place around 2.30am. The complainant approached Shera at a pub in Vile Parle and a heated argument broke out between the two. After they left the pub, Shera and two other bodyguards began to assault the complainant, breaking his collar bone and pointing a gun at him.

While more details are awaited, Shera is likely to be questioned and arrested by the Mumbai police today.
