Actor Ajay Devgn has said he likes the progress the industry has made in the last two decades since his debut. He said the industry as a whole has become more professional and actors are more serious about their films.
“It’s (industry) really changed. We have started taking our work very seriously and in 90’s we all were doing.. We weren’t allowed shoot for more than 11 films.. There were no promotions, no vanity vans.. Everything has gradually changed. It’s become more professional… ”
However, the actor added that every change has been for the betterment of the industry, except one.
“I think everything has changed for the good except for one thing… I think there was more warmth. Everybody liked everybody. There were no problems and no issues… I miss that warmth. That’s the major change, which I see today” he added.
‘Shivaay’ his second directorial venture after ‘U Me Aur Hum’ in 2008, releases in theatres on Friday.

Clashing with Huge film as huge as MOHENJO DARO made Rustom even bigger than it was. Thanks to Dirty game, MOHENJO DARO & Industry supports, A film that couldn’t earn even 75 Cr even with solo release that film earned 127Cr with clash. So, Rustom is paid success film, paid reviewed n Good Film.

Post Diwali i.e Monday will be huge in clash if somehow it manages 45 Cr+ in first 3 days.

Karan Johar and Fox Star has played the cheap games to allot more number of shows in multiplex than Shivaay as well as in premium multiplex whereas Shivaay has only C and D grade single screens. Karan Johar is doing all the cheap tactics to sabotage Shivaay and Ajay Devgn. Isn’t Karan Johar being called the best director of Bollywood and still trying to overpower inexperienced director AD? Such a Shame.

How can he expect others in the industry to support him when he has done foolish tactics to promote his film such as using comments of aperson like KRK? Ajay really doesn’t know how to handle ac lash. He made a big fuss when SOS clashed with JTHJ too. Ultimately both films won. Nobody knows: this time too both might win. Why did he have to use such cheap tricks for promotion, when the 1st trailer generated such a massive response? Had he been cool bout the clash, advance booking for Shivaay would have been much higher. Hope he learnt a lesson tbis time!

Lol, Ajay is well known to be among the most rude and selfish people in the industry. How an there be any warmth if you accuse a respected director of paying a critic to trash your movie? How can there be warmth if you didn’t move you movie even after legendary director died? How can there be warmth if you dragged that prestigious man to the court in his last days? There is still warmth between everyone else. These newcomers respect their seniors so much, the top 5 stars (King,Bhai,Perfectionist,Akki,HR) are all on good terms, you only have to watch an episode of a show like Kapil Sharma Show to see the warmth, love and respect that people in this industry have for eachother. You are the odd man out, you are insecure, you always want to put others down, then obviously you won’t be the recipient of any warmth. People behave with you the way you behave with them.

There is not a second thought that you are a great actor but I am sorry Sir, it’s really farcical to hear that you are talking about the reciprocal warmth among the individuals.
You are the one who has the habit of dragging every clash at personal levels.
When you approached the court in 2012 (JTHJ-SOS clash) , I thought that since YRF is a giant, they would have used certain hooks and crooks to book the screens in advance. But the way you have behaved w.r.t. Shivaay-ADHM clash, that strengthened my belief that you are an insecure person.
First you asked your close aide (Kumar Mangat) to call KRK and persuade him to reveal the ‘secret nexus’ between him (KRK) and KJo.
Once you procured that recording, you immediately put that clip on social media without confirming it’s authenticity with KJo.
Next, I still remember how you posted a tweet quoting ‘Relaxed’ when trailer of ADHM was launched. That was again a very cheap and unnecessary move and could have been avoided.
And now, when Uri attacks took place and there was an outrage among the people, you came with a statement saying “For me, my country comes first and nothing else matters”.
Again, there is no doubt on your patriotism but the timing and context of your statement raises the concerns. You forgot that even you have employed a foreign actress in your movie (though not Pakistani).
Lastly, I saw the posters and trailer of Shivaay. One slogan is highlighted everywhere – “Ye Diwali, Shivaay Wali”.
So far, I have seen such slogans being circulated by fans, but for the first time (if I am not wrong) , I saw a slogan officially endorsed by a film maker.
If my memory is on track, I never saw a slogan quoting “Ye Eid Sultan waali” or “Ye Diwali HNY waali” or “Ye Xmas , PK waali”.
I mean if you are so confident about your product, let the audience decide if they want Shivaay or ADHM this Diwali.There is no need of circulating such slogans particularly when another movie is scheduled for release on the same day.
In this entire episode, my respect for KJo has increased manyfold.
The maturity with which he has handled the things – be it KRK controversy or MNS ban – is truly commendable.
Of course, the better movie will win the Diwali battle but for me, the ‘ethical’ battle has already been won by ADHM and Team.
