Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has denied making a statement that India is intolerant, adding that he didn’t want to leave the country either. The actor blamed the media for the furore.
“I never said India was intolerant or I wanted to leave the country. I also understand the emotions of those who were hurt. I would like to say that my statement was misunderstood and to some extent media is responsible for it. I was born here and I will die here” Aamir said, while interacting with the media during an event to celebrate 10 years of his 2006 classic Rang De Basanti.
While Aamir had earlier said his wife, Kiran Rao, suggested they should probably leave India due to ‘growing despondency’ and fear for her child, Aamir says he gets homesick when he leave India for more than 2 weeks.
“Our country is diverse with so many languages, culture…no other country has so much diversity as India. Whenever I go abroad I can’t stay away from my country more than two weeks. I get homesick”
“I was born here and I will die here” he said.
On November 24 last year, Aamir had said “As an individual, as part of this country as a citizen, we read in the papers what is happening, we see it on the news and certainly, I have been alarmed. I can’t deny. I have been alarmed by a number of incidents. When I chat with Kiran at home, she says ‘Should we move out of India?’ That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day. That does indicate that there is this sense of growing disquiet, there is growing despondency apart from alarm. You feel why this is happening, you feel low. That sense does exist in me”

Whatever you said previously that is your real words, now whatever you say is just to cover that, because Amir knows that what happen to SRK and his “diwale” after he says about intolerance. Now Amir is very scare about his movie “dangal” future and his popularity. Most of indian does not like him either live in india or aboard. So he want to clear his image before “dangal” release. But i say one thing you already done. Nothing can clean you image.

That’s the aukaat of overrated media created star Salman and real megastar aamir khan. Dangal will shatter all records and aamir’s popularity is so big that rice and lultan’s life time collections will be shattered within less than a week. Aamir is biggest megastar in India and overseas. No one can match him in megastardom. Dangal will create 400 Cr club in India itself.
