My name is Rizvan Khan (played by Shahrukh Khan). I might seem a little ‘different’ to you. That is because I have Asperger’s Syndrome. It is named after Dr Hans Asperger who first noticed the traits in children.
Having Asperger’s does not mean I am stupid. I am very intelligent, but I don’t understand people. I don’t know why people say things they don’t mean. For example, they say come to my house any time, and when I go to their house they say why have you come at this time?
Sometimes people think I am rude. I don’t mean to be rude, being rude is not good. My mother said there are only good people and bad people in the world and I am a good person…
Rizwan Khan’s Story
Rizvan Khan, a Muslim man from India, moves to San Francisco and lives with his brother and sister-in-law. Rizvan, who has Asperger’s, falls in love with Mandira (Kajol).
Despite protests from his family they get married and start a small business together. They are happy until September 11, 2001 when attitudes towards Muslims undergo a sea-change.
When tragedy strikes, Mandira is devastated and they split. Rizvan is confused and very upset that the love of his life has left him. To win her back, he embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America.
‘My Name is Khan’ is the triumphant story of an unconventional hero overcoming obstacles to regain the love of his life.

if u think DMG is a good movie den something is seriously wrong.
i admit some Salman fans r slightly deluded coz dey never want to criticize Salman and his movies. i was very critical of Sallu in films like GTGH, YUVRAAJ etc. but SRK fans did hez da king or da best. plz wake up. Amir is no. 1 FACT.
also at dis moment in time in my humble and honest opinion VEER trailor and music (definitely) is ahead of MNIK. we cant judge performances or direction etc until da film comes out.

Anyways.. why u ppl think that everyone in this world should love the movie which you all loved.. which was a super hit movie, not a super hit only, but even some flop movie like “Mann” and u think that everyone MUST love those movies otherwise they’re ill or retard, etc ?!!! strange ppl!! will if I’m blaming Indicine Team, or any other reviewer for their bad reviews for some good movie, so I’m not forcing others to love the movie ( if they really saw it and didn’t like it).. I’m just expressing my opinion about a movie which I saw and found it good and others too found it good..and that is so unfair to say bad stuff about a movie which is really good.. that’s the point Naveed.. and I’m sure that most of u didn’t watch it based on bad reviews or bad promos.. as I did!!
And yes.. I found Gadar a bad movie, poor in direction, even my sister didn’t like it.. see how we’re different ppl and we got different opinions!!
How comes people are comparing My Name is Khan and Veer, doesnt make any sense, The two films are aimed at completely different audiences, with completely different storylines and tackling different issues. Shouldnt Veer be being compared to Jodha-Akbar, Asoka? Wile My Name is Khan should be drawing comparisons to Main Aisa Hi Hoon, and enevitably New York and Kurbaan? This process of comparing the star of the film and the music of the film rather than the content is baffling.

Iam the biggest fan of Shahrukh Khan who can go beyond the boundaries of being a fan of an actor!. I watched Rab ne banadi jodi 28 times in theater and watched Dulha mil gaya 6times just coz of the great superstar ever India had produced!!. No wonder why he has got Padma shri, consider among top 50 most influential people in the world by a magazine!.
There is no doubt that My name is khan will cross 3idiots records at ease…..because he will not hype his movies just simply like Akshay did for Chandini chowk or blue eventhough he knows these are crap movies.
I am an indian workin in dubai as a software engineer. Here fan following for Shahrukh is immense, mind blowing. Even if the whole india stop watching my name is khan…..this will break 3idiots records!!.
Shahrukh khan is the most down to earth,humble actor who never involves in any controversy in his personal life, unlike other actors. I adore him for the below reasons…
* He is the one who came from background other than film industry (also like Amitabh)
* He never acts in movie, he lives the character!!!
* He stirrs the soul with his superb unique acting style. He will make thousand expressions in one scene which other actor fails miserably.
* Because of him, We got to know what love is!!! (from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge).
* He challenged critics by taking the project of Chak De India with his superb performance!!!. I doubt any other actor would have ever dare to do the role of coach!!
Eventhough Aamir does good movies just like Tare zameen par, ghajini, 3idiots but i feel SOMETHING is missing in Aamir’s acting when compared to Shahrukh Khan!!!…May be the emotion quotient, a great punch to love scenes with effective stylish presentation is missing with Aamir khan.
Every website is publicity that Aamir is no 1 with just 2 big hits – My answer is just put this way!…”If all Aamir khan’s previous movies were made with Shahrukh and All Shahrukh movies with Aamir khan, Then you will see that all aamir movies would have become hit even with Shahrukh but not the otherway around!!!!” So he is called the badshah of bollywood!!.
Also compare the awards…how many Aamir or Salman has got? and how many Shahrukh has achieved??.
Truly he is the undisputed king of bollywood!!!!
Note: I compared only 3 actors as they are the only big ones who adds fuel to run the bollwood. (the other ones are Amitabh n Hrithik to some extent and the rest all actors are crap in bollywood)

his expression always up to mark.
on comapare to amir and salman ,srk always best in every feild.
amir is good actor but not suit in romantic scene. and salman khan is superstar coz of film mpk and hakhk.
otherwise nothing touchy in his acting.if ask about expression in face,salman khan fail to do it.

Shahrukh is not only the king.. he’s the heart throb.. he’s the “soul” of this industry, and bollywood is just “nothing” without Shahrukh.. Aamir comes as no. 2 for me, Hrithik is remarkable, unique, touched everyone’s heart by his look, his dance steps and his performance and doing movies which r quite different than other bollywood movies, and then the rest ( Amitab Bachan can’t be in the list because he’s the emporar of bollywood and he’s not in their age.. he’s a legend) but Syed.. didn’t u like Saif Ali Khan?

I like Saif also, but as of now he is not in a position to compare with the 3 biggies of bollywood. Saif has to prove once again just as he did in RACE movie for considering him in the near future. Love aaj Kal was good though.
I admire actors based on their ability to lift the movie on their own, eventhough the script is weak. For eg Shahrukh could have cake walk the role of Aamir in 3 idiots…..but for any other actor to do a role of Shahrukh khan in Chak de or Rab ne (Surinder Sahni’s role) or the emotions he showed in Kal ho na ho is impossible. These scripts would have flopped in bollywood if any other actor would have done.
I feel Hrithik has a good chance to rule the bollywood in the near future. ( I mean when these 3 khans come to the age of Amitabh…hahaha). Jokes apart, Hrithik, Shahid, Saif, Ranbir has a good chance in the future, only if they decide to choose the genre they are best suitable with!. Just like Shahrukh khan for romantic love stories, hrithik for great dances n stylish sleek movies etc……Otherwise they will endup their careers like Akshay Kumar, who eventhough in film industry for around 20 years but still confused whether to choose with comedy movies or action movies and end up making chandini chowk or blue!!!!!

Shahrukh khan always says he make movies to entertain us and not to win oscars!!!. It was the dream of Aamir until before 3 idiots, later on he realized he will never get oscar so end up making a masala movie.

Syed: Saif was good in Kurban, and Kurban deserved to win at the box office.. Saif is a very good actor.. I like his acting and I consider him one of the top 5 actors, who comes after Shahrukh, Aamir, Salman & Hrithik.. he should be at number 5
Kurban flopped.. can’t believe that.. Dil Bole Hadippa flopped.. that was the most shoking news!!!! Dostana which was the best comedy romantic, big movie, did average business in India.. that was shocking too!! and some crap movies won e.g. All the best movie ( which they should hv called it All the Worst!!) God.. I still don’t understand the indian audience.. why some good movies flop and don’t do well at the box office?!! I’m still surprised, not only me, everyone who saw Dil Bole Hadippa & Dostana in our country and loved them, enjoyed them, as they were perfect entertaining movies with nice songs ( and Shahid, Rani were so good in DBH) even though.. it didn’t satisfy the indian audience.. why?!! I still don’t get it.. I can assume that these 2 movies didn’t do well coz I noticed in the past 2 years, lots of ppl here on this website were against Yash Raj films!!! against good movies and defend bad movies!!!!!!! the new generation are just CRAZY!!! why are they against the best filmmakers in the industry?!!! can u answer why?!! they are against Karan Johar who’s one of the best director, who did great movies, there4 Dostana which was a great fun movie didn’t do well in India!!!! They’re trying to ruin My Name is Khan.. they tried “hard” to spoil Shahrukh’s image in the past 2 years.. even Shahrukh himself was hurt and didn’t know why.. but I knew why.. because 2 years ago, and when Singh is Kinng was released, all punjabi ppl were promoting for Akshay Kumar.. wanted to crown him by disgracing Shahrukh, by hurting his reputation.. but thank God.. they could never win.. God could never dump Shahrukh coz he’s not a hypocrite person, and he deserves all the good things in this life.

Guys, I saw this movie friday night show.. the viewers attendence was about 40%
now here is my review:
The movie has many pitfalls, some are listed below:
1) Sharukh is shown suffering from disease, but his austin like acts are looking poorly imitative.. interistingly he is shown participating in functions, gives speech, does the routine works,etc .. very unconvincing, hard to beleive.
2) Their son getting killed – is the worst ever picturisations.. its very violent to see the kids killing another in a soccer (football) playground.. and for no significant or strong reason .. ( director tries to convince, its because he is muslim, but its very poorly themed and picturised .. very bad really)
3) He gives statements in Hindi to Americans present in a social gathering and they were singing and dancing afterwords (as if they have understood the ‘Hndi’ very well) .. its very unconvincing..
4) Kajol is shown with terrorist alignments… which is very bad, since childrens and woments are least involved in terrorist activities… it was really not required to be shown in movie.
5) Lastly, the sentence “My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist ” is repeated too many times.. you would struck with feeling, if the muslims are eally terrorists … another directorial failure.. it seems like director is trying to defend and protect this Khan only (you will loose interest as the message is not conveyed properly for all muslims)..
This is very unfortunate to say that this highly hyped movie fails to deliver at every aspect.. the story seems to be revolving around 9/11 only, acting wise the stars have nothing to do but to narrate the story..
The emothional quotient is temporary as the story treatment is poor and leaves no impact due to hard to beleive sequences/picturizations.
This movie might only be liked by sharukh fans only, and others should skip this flic or may see it in fast forward mode from local dvd shop ..
