Putting all the gossip and rumor mills to an abrupt end, the final word has come from none other than the superstar himself. Salman Khan, who re-emerged on Twitter only once in 2013 to support Kamal Hassan, was suddenly active on the micro-blogging website today.
He started with his usual typical tweets and to everyone’s surprise he even replied to a fan by mentioning her Twitter handle for the first time.
But the tweet of the day came in capital letters and the megastar ended all the speculations in style. Here goes the tweet that will make all Salman fans happy!
“Nothing just on my way to the airport going to Dubai to shoot for ‘Mental’ hearing a track wakanda in my car by Dimitri vegas and like mike. Hai na? its an outstanding track” A tweet that confirmed the Dubai shooting schedule and more importantly, the title ‘Mental’.
Directed by Sohail Khan, the shooting of Mental begins in Dubai today (27 February). There are reports that Daisy Shah has been signed to play the female lead, which is again something that hasn’t been officially confirmed. Infact, the project seems to be a top-secret as very little info has been revealed to the media.

The title “Mental” conjurs up people with mental problems in an asylum. Why did he pick this title. Can he realistically complete shooting and editing in 6 month with a one film director like Shohil, his brother, in time for EID? The lack luster response to films like Khiladi and Sanjay Dutt’s recent release does not brood well for Mental. I think Salman should take a rest take care of his health and take time to plan his next films.

d2 was salman’s second film from last 18 months(bodyguard-july 2011),sp26 was akshay’s sixth film from last 10 months(hf2-april-2012)
d2 was a sequel of atbb film and biggest hit of year 2010,sp.26 was completely new and different film.

Budget speech by Finance Minister:
We have to take in to account the boom in film industry and owe it to the one and only Salman Khan for bringing in continuous growth in finance since the last 5 years on a continuals and consistent basis.
I am shocked and surprised how an medium budget movies can make multi-crore dollars, just on the strenght of one man. The nation salutes him.
On the other hand, it is also more shocking to see a huge star cast and hyped up big budget movies go down flat, reminding us that people like more entertainment that is real and Indian, and not fake swiss alps romantic running arounds.
A wise advise to all other movie makers to shift your movies at least a month in advance or later to Shri Salman Khan’s movie release so that you also reap the benefits from the movie and achieve at least the budget you spend on it. This will help the economy remain stable.
Finally, a big thanks to the Indian citizens who have been watching Salman’s movie to bring back the industry from the brink of being bankrupt.
If the Salman’s juggernaut continues, the day is not far when the government would not need to charge any tax on movies as the money is already huge in collection and also putting less burden on movie fans.

‘Mental’ will be a film portraying the realities of fans clinging onto false hope in life. Bhai will deal with deranged psychopaths and demented losers who still believe in a world where King is still boxoffice king. ‘Mental’ will be made along the lines of a documentary featuring real life scenarios and fans. One famous fan who will be prominent in the film is your twin brother ‘xzone’. Bhai will follow him around in the asylum and everytime xzone copies srks signature move of ‘Arms Wide Apart in JTHJ’ mode then bhai will go into Jalwa mode and proceed to beat the crap out of him before getting him pinned down to receive more electrical shocks by doctors. This my friends will be known as the ‘Mental’ signature dance step and fans will be encouraged to execute this routine everytime they see deranged srkians like ‘remotecontrol, John Cena Loser Fan, and Damnnn…! on streets getting into JTHJ mode. Mental in true essence is about helping those who dont realise they need help.
