Massive sets are being constructed for Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Raees’ in Mumbai’s Film City. Since the film is set in the 1980’s, the makers are trying to recreate the city of Ahmedabad to match the bygone era.
Attention to every minute detail is being given tremendous importance as the feel of the film - including houses, buildings, shops, clothes that people wear - will resemble the 80s.
Shahrukh Khan will be playing a Gujrati don, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is his on-screen wife and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the role of a police officer.
Produced by Excel Entertainment, Raees will be directed by Rahul Dholakia. The film goes on floors early next month.

@jvm : Let srk do a Tere Naam or Dabangg. You cant even imagine any other actor in these roles except Salman. Likewise Salman cant do a Swades or CDI. Every actor have some weakness !!!!! Srk is better actor than Salman but Salman is bigger superstar than srk (at least in current scenario).

look,I m not a salman hater.I know he is d biggest crowd-puller or more popular than srk now-a-days.bt the difference between him & srk is not so big.I know he is not in top bt he is just behind of salman in terms popularity & in terms of boxoffice he is in no.3. everyone knows that the period between(2000-2008) was the worst period for salman & best for srk.after 2010 it’s all about salman….& for srk it is worst.& some salman fan r saying that he has lost his stardom.ok I m not denying.bt just look at the difference in his worst days he is fighting with salman neck to neck & also beating salman(ce-422cr).what he needs is a good script.that’s all.srk is the only actor who has no comeback film.he is alz in top 3.bt what about salman.giving a highest grosser or altbb after 5 or 6 years is not stardom.(before 2010) u have to be consistent.& in that case srk is the safest actor in d industry for last 2 decades.I have no problem with salman.I just love him & his films.he has his own charisma.I wish he get more success.bt u can’t deny fact.
