Mardaani Monday Box Office Collections

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani has done well on its first weekday at the box office, collecting a decent fourth day total of Rs 2.44 cr net.The drop from Friday is 26%, which is decent but the opening on Friday was on the lower side.

The YRF film has been awarded tax free status in the state of Madhya Pradesh which should help boost business in circuits like C.P Berar and C.I. Unfortunately, the film is not doing too well in these circuits as most of the business is coming from Mumbai.

The response in circuits like Mysore and West Bengal has been good. Multiplex targeted film with good content and strong word-of-mouth publicity tend to do well in these circuits.

In the last few months, more than Monday, the bigger test has come on Tuesday. Mardaani would have to sustain with drops of less than 10% to emerge a success.
